This add-on is the most thoughtfully designed 'auto copy your selection' extension. Because it has a configurable delay for when the copying will be triggered, Quick Copy 2 avoids wiping out your currently wanted clipboard entry by mistake!
I only wish it were compatible with "Drag-Select Link Text" by Kestrel, to make copying the text of links a breeze.
I hope you get around to updating this practical add-on DEF00111, to maintain future Firefox compatibility and also consider making it co-operate with that add-on I mention above.
If you need multiprocess(e10s) use AutocopySelection2Clipboard
in the first it did nt work , but going to settings and activating every thing made it working. thanks
Default settings didn't copy, nor did creating a specific entry in about:config.. Granted I'm a FF beta tester, so I expect some function glitches in my setup as a matter of course, but automatic copying is a basic need for me; if it has to be done manually I can do that "by hand." :\
It half worked for me. I'm using FF 34.05 and the selected text does NOT auto-collapse. Instead i have to ctrl +C to get text into clipboard. But that's fine of course.
What's not so fine: doesn't work at all inside hotmail. And that was my main purpose. Sigh.
Great tool, a real gem here :-)
Double click not working in latest Firefox (33.0.2).
Fix it please.
Exzellentes Tool!
