The Best. I want it on Firefox 57.
This add-on is excellent, but the downside is that it does not have a highlighter, and is sometimes buggy when it comes to accessing the editor. However, this is still a cool add-on on how it stores the websites/pages, with the addition of being on so many browsers. Moreover, QASymphony, INC. can you add a highlighter in such a way that when you select text with the mouse, it highlights the selection in yellow or any other color?
I Would Love To PAY to a Version That`s Includes a ScreenRecorder With Built-in In Video Edition (With Pre-Sets). The 3d Pre-Sets Text Animations Start Before you Click o Record !)
Thanks for The Great Software !
This is lovely and a well made addon. However because of the issue that you cannot save to the desktop in the most recent version of FF it becomes useless for me.
It comes about because the cropping tool only crops the image on save. The work around mentioned by the developer to right click and 'Save image as...' just saves the screenshot with the crop tool greying out the rest.
There is a real usability issue around cropping too. It is really non-obvious that you have to click 'Share' to crop the image. I spent 5 minutes (literally) trying to find how to crop the image, searching endlessly to see if there was a 'apply crop' button.
Please take a look at how Greenshot on Windows works with image editing. Although the interface there is possibly less polished it is easier to use.
The 'Share' button should be split between a 'Share' button and a 'Save' button
Once cropping happens directly before having to Save and the Save to desktop works again I'll be happy to try again.
Saving snap to desktop has been fixed in version 184.108.40.206
Doesn't matter what I try but I cannot save a snap? I can edit the snap as I like but...
Select Share, Save screen to your machine, I select desktop but no reaction?
I can only deduct that it's not compatible with the current version of FF?
Thanks for reporting this issue. We investigated and found out that with the new version of Firefox, the snap cannot be saved to desktop.
While we are fixing the issue, please work around by right clicking on the snap that you want to save on qSnap editor and choose "Save image As".
[Edited - Jan 18, 2016] The save issue has been fixed.
Good addon but there are issues.
1. Qsnap removes extra toolbars which makes Qsnap unusable for me.
2. Callout Tool places the text to high and too far left without the ability to correct it with sliding squares. You can only change bottom or rightside.
3. Need to reset all settings of color, line thickness etc. with each visit.
Should be able to save memory of these settings.
4. Missing many important features such as
Yellow Highlight, add Border, Double Arrow, Upload image to another site like imgur.
No response with help to issues in the support site... for anyone.
Please fix issues and add features and I will upgrade star rating.
I like this addon very much. I have tested a lot of other of this kind, but this takes web grabbing to the next level:
* It's very easy to use
* I can make several snapshots and take a look of the best before saving
* I can crop an area and comment inside the crop before saving - then I have the possibility to change the crop area if needed
* I can draw and comment in snapshot without opening a new program - very timesaving
* Quick access to choose grab and saving mode
What will do this addons to the absolute number ONE is:
* Remember a saving path i.e. the last one
* Give the possibility to change file name before saving (and if making of default setting such as %path, %http, %custom... will be a mega boost!)
* Possible to save in different format such as png and pdf
Thank you and good luck! :-)
please add menu in, context menu firefox.
Love it, taking a screenshot is easy as pie with this add-on. Dont know what I'd do without it now. Thanks
absolutely terrible extension for features and support.
cropping didn't work, neither did sharing.i got a reply from the developer saying cropping happens ONLY when you select the rectangle and then hit SAVE or SHARE, meaning cropping must be the LAST THING you do for your edit.
this is ridiculous, as cropping a page is one fo the first things you do to frame a scene THEN you add details.
Also the developer said SHARING happened NOT when you hit the SHARE button on the page, as that only saves the file to your PC, no...he instead described how you must share the screenshot to QSNAP server, then log-in and select the file from there THEN share again from QSNAP server to G+, Twitter, etc.
yes that's right, the1st SHARE button you see does not offer the functionality to share socially, you must hit that SHARE button to upload the screenshot to QSNAPS server, then hit another SHARE button you find there to actually get the social sharing you initially wanted.
this "double sharing" is ridiculous and completely defeats the idea of simple and convenient sharing.
worst still is trying to log-in to QSNAP forums pages.i tried replying to the developer and i was asked for my email and password to log-in to Qsnap's website.
email and/or password were apparently incorrect so i asked to "reset my password", an email comes saying "click link to choose your new password" and it takes me to Qsnap's webpage asking me once again to enter email and password, and we do the dance again.
basically no way to log-in to th Qsnap's own website to reply to the forum bug tracker for the issues i raised already.so in short, cropping, sharing and communicating with the developer is ridiculous.
Cool, I really love this tool. Editing tools are great, but what I like the most that I have the same screen capturing in all browsers. waiting for Opera version :)
it worked perfectly and help me a lot , thanks for create this wonderful extension
