That cookie guy made my day, but yeah not a nice feature to have, maybe making it optional?

Option to always choose the same proxy at startup would be nice! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very useful addon if you want to change between different proxies.
As there seems to be no other way to get support I'll put my feature request here: It would be great if there was an option to always choose the same proxy when Firefox starts. In some situation I have to stop using a proxy. However, I want my standard proxy to be automatically selected when I restart Firefox. At the moment, there is no option to do this.

WHY you delete cookies by default? No warning about that? If you wanna delete cookies for some reason, then don't do it by default and not without an initial confirmation question. Some people rely on their cookie data. If the cookie trashing wouldn't be there I would recommend this addon for sure.

Now my Firefox is perfect: the title bar became very tiny and still easy to use, just the way I want.

This user has a previous review of this add-on.

OMG, it just removed all my cookies! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

By default it REMOVES YOUR COOKIES. OMG that is a nasty thing to do. UNINSTALLING NOW.

Very very goooood!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hi!
addon is a very good
please add a button to add a text file with a list of proxy servers
for example: server name; address; port.
list can be large and filled with notepad.
the separator can be any known to all users

it will be a very good addition to the Proxy Selector

Regards..

Simple and easy Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Good addon, it is simple and easy to use.
Drawback: it ignores the exceptions in the proxysetting (127.0.0.1, localhost, etc).

Why the two-steps verification dont work correct with this addons ?? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

After the instalation, all my two-steps sites (like gmail, facebook) request me to put a SMS code (I was marked my computer a secure device and not request this code before in this device).

And the Proxy configuration is marked was "no proxy".

Why ??

Very good except an ugly navbar button Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This add-on simply enhances the built-in proxy manager and does a very good job with beautiful simplicity. But the three supported button type are all ugly placed in navbar with needless extra padding, which I consider as a bug.

Neat, easy to use, and I have a feature request Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It's great to configure proxies in a windows almost identical to firefox's original connection settings window. However, I woud recommend adding keyboard shortcuts for cycling through available proxies, or even selecting one specific proxy.

good but there's something confusing. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

on the window for editing proxy details, don't you think you should swap the option "Automatic proxy configuration URL" and "auto-detect proxy settings for this network"?

I like the simplicity of this add-on, anyhow there are visual bugs with the new Aurora (Firefox 29) interface. For instance, it doesn't show the proxy-list when using it via the new menu. To bypass this bug I have to use it via the Extras menu of the Menu bar.

There is a problem with the zipped xpi file since version 1.30, version 1.22 works fine.
Although the file is installed by FF itself, our package manager refuses due to the errors raised.

View errors with:
unzip proxy_selector-1.31-fx.xpi 1>/dev/null

Sorry, the add-on is great, found not other place for a bug report.

This is a great plugin.
In a simple muse movement, I can switch between a local proxy A, a local proxy B, or no proxy at all (essentially when taking the machine out of either company or home network)
Too bad that the proxyselector icon seems to hide itself somewhere for now, in FF 29. But 'm confident that either "this will be repaired soon" or that ... I stumble upon the thing where it is hidden. In that case, I hope to remember posting that here.

Which was quite soon. After posting the above lines, I "found it" ... almost in the TOP of FF29's new "more tools" menu. I was so sure had "looked everywhere", so I suppose that just speaking out what went wrong twisted my fingers/eyes/brains enough to go look where it was.
This is a big relief.

Great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

An awesome simple plug-in which does what it claims. Highly recommended. I use it to quickly switch in between no proxy vs Tor Proxy

Proxy selector 1.31 problem Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I am usring The Puzzle Piece" as the replacement of Barlesque on firefox 29 beta 1. However, I found one bug. I am also using proxy selector, too. And I found that if I "reopen the firefox", my previous proxy setting on the add-on bar created by "The Puzzle Piece" would disapper. Currently, I move Proxy Selector icon to the navigation bar to avoid my proxy setting gone. Please fix this bug if possible.

Below is comments from the developer of The Puzzle Piece:
That's a bug with Proxy Selector itself, it is listening to general "mouse drop" events to initialize the button, rather than listening to the native CustomizableUI events. This problem will happen with pretty much every add-on that adds toolbars through the Australis system, and you should contact Proxy Selector's developer about this, as a fix for this directly in his add-on would be much better.
