Forgive me.. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

..if I'm stating the obvious here, but I'm not a developer...I used to do some basic html years ago though, and am I not right in thinking that frames are old tech now? Anyway, don't forget that a frame has two addresses...the page that's the contents of the frame itself, and the page that contains the frame. I only say this because your description suggests to me that it's an addressing problem. Something to do with the way the details are going into the sql d/b perhaps? I have absolutely no idea!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (initial.rev362.1-signed.1-signed).  This user has other reviews of this add-on.

The db gets its url's from location.href, so yes, that's the address of the frameset, not the frame. And of course, the add-on works fine if you do 'This Frame|Show Only This Frame.' Frames are definitely deprecated. The new way to embed scrollable text is with the 'object' element, although I suspect this add-on as currently configured will fail that case, also.
