by Firefox user 17060328, 3 years agoIt has worked really well until firefox for whatever reason started to put a stick in the wheel and the whole system crashed down. I felt safe exploring in other countries not feeling Google breathing up my neck. Why o why does Firefox in it's search box have google as the first choice when I fill in www. It almost seems that firefox little by little is infiltrated by this company which I try to avoid by all means.
Yuval Harari is warning us for this phenomenon.
I just hope I am wrong
Just been reading the reviews and I can only come to one conclusion. The problems people experience is not due PIA but the upgrade of Firefox. I really enjoy firefox but It doesn't help if firefox doesn't allow another layer of protection to work, actually deny it to work. Which should be my choice. Otherwise it goes in the direction of Google. Using e.g Tor browser (10 years ago) made google's hair standing up. As if I don't have the freedom to decide if I want to get my toilet paper from A because google decides I should get it from Z. Is there any concern from firefox about PIA or is it that firefox itself performs the same bullshit as Google?
In the 90ties one could do a search and have an outcome. now only selling things we don't need, poluting the world and our minds with unwanted issues. Trying to sell, sell, sell sell. And not adding anything positive than satisfying our pathetic EGO

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18642842, 18 days agoThis plugin causes conflicts with my Hikvision camera plugin. I can display my two cameras on the web gui when this plugin is disabled. However, when this plugin is enabled it interferes and causes the video window to be too large and offset to the right (so the second camera is not visible).

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14609082, 3 months agoAlways goes down for extended periods of time. It shows it's connected but you can't load pages. Sometimes reinstalling gets it working again but only lasts a short while.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17025688, 3 months agoServers frequently drop out and stop working, and when that's not the issue it completely messes up and "Fails to Authenticate" forcing me to have to resign in. It's a bloody unreliable hassle that has been happening for the past year.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17596741, 6 months agoWhy is it that EVERY SINGLE TIME I start up this addon I have to flip through the entire list of regions 10-20 times just to find 1 working connection?

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15703597, 8 months agoPIA performs flawlessly. Even though the app warns of a bit of performance hit while using it, I normally see a performance increase. I have pulled down gigabytes of data through both the Firefox addon and the Linux system level VPN. No problems, ever.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 10657606, a year agoUnbelievable! Permanent logouts on different devices, connection drops several times a day. When will this finally be fixed?
- Rated 4 out of 5by Jayel, a year agoIt would be great if it has a whitelist function or the exclusion list accepts regular expressions.
