An excellent add-on which does just what it advertises. Unfortunately, one simple line of code causes it to break in Firefox 51+. (I had been using Firefox 50 until recently so I didn't even notice until yesterday *eyes rolled*...) I submitted a fixed version (compatible with "legacy" releases including Firefox 52 ESR), fingers crossed it doesn't get rejected for being a legacy add-on now that FF Quantum is out...
Firefox v51 and wont work anymore.
It stopped working because of a Firefox update, as others said here, but the developer doesn't seem to notice or care. If anyone knows how to contact him it would be nice to let him know.
Doesn't work with new firefox (iirc) 51
Please don't get the wrong for the rating. This has been really helpful, enough to give it a 5 out of 5, but until just before the update came on Firefox's 51.0. Since then the "private browsing personas" add-on did not work.
If possible, please rectify this add-on for this update as soon as possible.
Otherwise, thanks a lot. This add-on was extremely helpful in the past.
Very good addon that all what i need
No entiendo por que motivo firefox no permite que esto suceda, hace rato que quería una solución así y por suerte me encontré con esto! Tenía ventanas en privado abiertas y no tuve que cerrarlas para que cargaran el skin. Gracias!
¨*•Thanks•*¨ for fixing it Kris! (｡◠‿ ◠｡)
This is exactly what I was hoping to find, a simple way to use my black theme during private browsing. Thanks for the work Kris Maglione!
I have no idea why Mozilla doesn't allow personas in Private Browsing by default, so I'm glad this add-on exists!
Dicho y hecho. Hace lo que propone y es excelente.
It does what it says.
It does what it says it would do, but I would love an addon that let me pick a different persona for private browsing.
I can't believe they were dumb enough to do this intentionally. I just assumed it was a mistake. Different persona--good. Only default persona--bad.
Finally found fix for stupid firefox developers decision :) I know then i'm browsing in private mode, i don't need to see different theme for that i'm not stupid:)
Worked perfectly. Didn't have a review, and it definitely deserves one. That ugly pale blue was killing me in private browsing.
