After several months of use of 'Privacy Badger', indeed it blocks trackers, but does not block some ads on streaming sites, nor the pop up of youtube, nor the advertising videos of youtube, I like everything that is Open Source and I thank the EFF, but unfortunately after comparison with 'ADGUARD of AdGuard Software Ltd' I take the latter and install it on my browser.
Developer responseposted 8 days agoPrivacy Badger is primarily a privacy tool, not an ad blocker. Our aim is not to block ads, but to prevent non-consensual invasions of people’s privacy.
While there is overlap between traditional list-based blockers and Privacy Badger’s protections, unlike list-based blockers, Privacy Badger automatically discovers trackers. This means your Privacy Badger can learn to block tracking that list-based blockers don’t know about.

- by webistrator, 2 months agoRated 2 out of 5Great when it works...but it fails for Lastpass Password Manager, and that's not cool! It shows no cookies and Lastpass' cookie listing with Firefox shows there are at least 4! And the Badger pop-up that allows disabling for a given site doesn't allow re-enabling for a site, once disabled. Now I find that, once disabled for a given site such as Lastpass, Badger has died and stopped working altogether (no icon cookie counts display anywhere).
This thing has potential, but needs more reliability testing!
