It is very helpful to adjust a Web-page to a printer friendly format, exclude advertisement and navigation-elements.
Once I had a problem, i've recieved a solution within a few minutes.
This add-on should be installed on every firefox browser.
Se ci fosse la sesta stella la attribuirei.
Estensione fantastica: consente di creare dei pdf delle sole parti della pagina che effettivamente uno vuole conservare con una flessibilità straordinaria. Irrinunciabile.
How can I save or reuse my last settings when I print a new page(each time I have to do the following)
Print Edit > Web Styles > Preview > Print> Appearance: keep bgcolor and keep bg image > headers: all set to blank > footers: only keep page numbers > save as PDF.
Could the above 8 steps be done with one click?

This addon makes it super-easy to print only the parts of a web-page that you want to print.
Every website has tons of content that would only be a waste of ink (and sometimes paper) if it was included in the print. "Print Edit" lets you remove those wasteful bits in a flash.
Some websites don't fit very well in your desired paper-format, and as a result the content would be split in a messy way over multiple pages. With "Print Edit" you can change the layout and format parts or all of the content so that it still makes sense as a hard copy.
Every content writer, or editor, find themselves slipping the occational typo into their published material. It is inevitable. Wouldn't it be nice though if you could correct that annoying typo, so that it will not eternally blemish your nice white sheets? "Print Edit" lets you do just that. Jay! :D (as long as you don't feel the need to add any spaces to the text. Because for some reason the text editor of "Print Edit" does not respond to the spacebar? As a workaround you could copy-paste a space-character from somwhere else, but that is rather cumbersome.)
The problem of not being able to enter spaces into the text box in the Text panel is fixed win Version 17.11, which will be released in a couple of days.
This is the most useful extension for me. It is almost perfect. Please consider a way for users to insert a jump to next page function at the position of the mouse with contextual menu in preview mode so people can put some paragraphs on next page instead of splitting them. Many times, we get a title at the bottom of a page and the next paragraph at the top on the next one. It would be nice to put the title on the next page to join it with the next paragraphs.
Many thanks for the work.
I tried to print mails mails to pdf on Gmail/Firefox, but pdfs were never produced
Works great in Ubuntu 16.10/Linux. Excellent research tool (e.g., saving snippets of a Wikipedia page). Thanks so much!
I'm also experiencing a bottom toolbar with Windows 10 64bit latest.
It seems to be interfering with the addon "Tabs On Bottom (Astralis) 2.0.0"
--->Problem solved. It works fine.
Please see response below to similar problem reported by 'petereye'.
In FF 51.0.1, the Print Edit menu is at the bottom of the page. So when you click on a menu choice that has a dropdown menu, the dropdown is below the bottom of the page. Only workaround is to drag the bottom of the FF window to about the middle of the monitor. Then tried Print Edit WE, but it has its own problems.

I have no problem with operation .
Toolbar moved to bottom of page, I cant get it back to the top
Running Firefox 51.0.1
There have been several other reports of similar problems.
In those cases, the problem is caused by the Tabs on Bottom (Australis) add-on. Unfortunately, that add-on is poorly designed and conflicts with both Firefox and Print Edit, causing both the Firefox Print Preview toolbar and the Print Edit toolbar to appear at the bottom of the window.
As an alternative to the Tabs on Bottom (Australis) add-on, you could use the Tabs on Bottom add-on or the Toolbar Position Changer add-on.
Print Edit 17.7 will include a workaround to override the problem caused by the Tabs on Bottom (Australis) add-on.
With Firefox 52beta1 the print preview after edit the page doesn't work.
Please fix the problem.
This problem is fixed in Print Edit 17.7.
Even if I don't select or edit anything, just prints blank pages, whether it's actual printing or saving to PDF.
I am using Firefox 50.1.0.

Such awesome sounding potential but there seems to be some flaw which will not allow the graphic to be included in the page.
I'm trying to save as .pdf and while many times I'd probably want to exclude some graphic etc. this time I want to keep them but I cannot. I choose "Select all" and the entire area I want goes pink (looks promising) but the graphic will not show on Preview or save when saved as .pdf.
Tried a couple of tests. I chose "Select Graphics" and it didn't. Or when I specifically selected just the graphic and chose "Hide except", it would not display it.
Would love to see this fixed.
When you first enter Print Edit “edit” mode, the “Web Style” toggle button is not active.
This means that the web page’s “print” style sheets are applied, which sometimes means that the graphics are not displayed.
If you want to see the graphics, click on the “Web Style” button, which will apply the web page’s “screen” style sheets, and display the page as it normally appears on your screen.
the app is worth 5 star but I am experiencing quite a severe sability issue when google mail is opened: firefox crashes.
I have tested (by removing) each of the extensions installed and Print Edit seems to be the only one that make the difference; once removed gmail (and firefox) are again stable. BTW, deactive the addon is not enough, I had to remove it. Could you please check for any bug , if any?
It's good, thanks!!!Excellent. Easy to use - I have tried printing a news page by removing an unwanted header image and it works as expected. This is just a wonderful add-on. Works perfectly. Integrates seamlessly with the Print Preview window. Extremely useful. Should be built in to Firefox.
Thank you. Print Edit helped in printing out documents so I could finish setting up my office. Any questions I had the developer was able to answer. The documents look like they should without having to re-create everything in order to print it out properly.
This is a useful extension!
Why am I now required to "Save" my edited document before printing (from the Print Edit task bar)? The program deserves 5 stars, but this change since the most recent update is annoying and time consuming. I hope this will be modified in future updates: soon. Also, how do you contact the developer to report a glitch? Such an option should be available.

everytime i use print-edit i find another gold nugget that addresses exactly what i want to do. i haven't used such a thoroughly developed piece of sw before without paying for it in one way or another. i found this page to leave a review while looking to make a donation to the developer. very good stuff.
Complemento excelente: é possível personalizar a página a imprimir com zoom, escolher imprimir ou não cabeçalho e rodapé, etc.
This is one of the most elegant extensions I've used. It's not a simple extension and offers a lot of features, but it handles everything with ease. Well done to the author (and thanks for Pale Moon support).
5-star without a doubt.
Thanks! This is very cool and well designed. All what I need!
Good addon, but does not preserve embedded hyperlinks when printing as pdf.
The main purpose of Print Edit is to allow editing of a web page before it is printed (onto a piece of paper). The feature that allows saving an edited web page to a PDF is convenient for many users, but is not the main purpose. The library included with Firefox that Print Edit uses to generate PDF files does not have the capability to retain hyperlinks.
