Was good, now crap Rated 1 out of 5 stars
5 years ago it was great, now it doesn't show the Amazon book images correctly, hasn't been updated in years, and the developer does not respond to emails. Google search alternative to PriceDrop and find yourself a better solution.
Unreliable Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Le tracker ne remonte pas les bons prix sur les produits sélectionnés. il est n'est pas très fiable
Does support all products, not really worth running Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This doesn't watch items that are not sold by amazon, which is actually a lot of the things on my list, even things that are Prime. So didn't feel like this was worth running as a add-on.

This is very usefull but in the new add-on panel the icon is wrong and brokes the UI, please fix it!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.31.1-signed.1-signed).
Mostly a nuisance Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Only compatible with items sold directly by Amazon, which is a fraction of the items. No options. Only runs when Firefox opens & no 'Search Now', which is not much use if you keep Firefox open a long time and this will add to Firefox's startup time. Much better if these 3 issues were sorted, but should prove useful sometimes.
Edit: I uninstalled this because it is giving an alert every time I open Firefox for prices that have dropped by a few pence. There is no way to configure this add-on so it is mostly a nuisance. The highlighted items stay highlighted even when there is no further drop & cannot be reset. Has not been updated for over 2 years so it probably never will. Now 1 star instead of 2.

Track tagged Amazon items at every Firefox startup! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Amazon varies their pricing in response to other e-tailers' sales, often on a day-to-day basis. PriceDrop inserts a small track/untrack banner in each Amazon product page. When Firefox is started, PriceDrop checks the price of any tracked items and pops up a small notification window if any price has dropped below the tagged price. This lets you catch items on sale without having to visit Amazon every day to check prices on your watched items. There's also a PriceDrop button in the navigation bar that brings up a price list for all your tracked items.
PriceDrop only tracks items sold by Amazon, not by 3rd party sellers.
Good if you only buy products sold directly by Amazon Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Will not track products offered on Amazon but sold by other companies. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.31.1-signed.1-signed).

Rated 5 out of 5 stars
My previous review was wrong - It's apparently Ookong doing this - their pop-up says "PriceDrop" as a logo with an arrow, so I thought it was this extension.
I can't find a way to remove my previous review, so I hope a five star rating balances it out.
Great way to track prices Rated 5 out of 5 stars
@The Virginian and scottdr36
Why are you one-starring a product because of Amazon's policy change, which doesn't break this extension?
I use Pricedrop for watching an item's price before I buy. When it drops, I go for it.
This is a very useful extension.
Good Extension, with suggestion Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Extension works as mentioned. I wish if you could cover "Click here to see the price" items as well, since i am getting such items more often now a days. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.06).
Excellent extension! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love this extension, it's very useful and simple to use.
It has helped me save lots of money with Amazon's refunds!

Great extension... Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I really like this but I don't like it hijacking affiliate links. Also iMacros currently breaks this extension. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.05).
Not Quite What I Was Hoping For Rated 2 out of 5 stars
PriceDrop uses affiliate links, but reports your usage anonymously. I don't have a problem with that, as long as it's anonymous, but some people might. I think this fact should've gone into the add-on description (although to the authors' credit, it is clearly stated in the FAQ on their website). But that's not why I gave it 6 stars.
The reason why I gave it 6 stars is because the add-on only tracks things sold directly by Amazon itself. The vast majority of purchases I make from amazon.com are from resellers who often sell new items more cheaply than Amazon and who also sell used items, often at ridiculously cheaper prices. I'd rather pay $0.01 + $3.99 for a used book than $40.00 for a new copy. Additionally, I no longer purchase new CDs from non-indie labels since I don't want my money going to the RIAA.
Unfortunately, PriceDrop doesn't track Amazon's reseller's prices. Tracking items sold directly by Amazon is almost useless for me.
Saved me $20 in 2 days Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Worked great for me....I just added all items I was buying for Christmas to my PriceDrop list and emailed Amazon when the prices went down...I've been refunded about $20 so far. The only request I have is that you can set how often it updates from the Amazon site. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.03).
Compatibility Problem Rated 3 out of 5 stars
It doesnot work with Noscript addon installed. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.02).
