I really like it! But, there is a problem. I have to reinstall it every time I use it. I cannot make sense of that. Absent that issue I would give it a 5.
powerbotapps is a really good tool. It became a very important and helpful part of my workflow.
Thank you guys, also for your great support and awsome product in general.
This works great with my gmail for it not only can clip single mail but the whole thread.
It works well enough, but after a while it suddenly started demanding that I pay an annual fee of $14.99.
I have nothing against this, I often pay for addins that make life easier. But I used it to feed Evernote, which is free for many people and purposes.
What I do object is the fact that this "feeware" mode is well hidden, until your trial expires. Can you see anything on its Add-On page here?
There are free alternatives out there. They may not be as easy to use. The again, this one always threw up a confirmation dialogue that I had to dismiss.
I'm giving them a 2.5 out of 5 b/c the app only works half the time. The buttons disappear frequently or "Send to Evernote" button does not respond. If it worked, I'd give a 5. After contacting their support I didn't receive a response although other inquiries were made after mine and a response was provided. I can't even get in contact w/ them to request a refund!
I have a several gmail acct's and don't want Powerbot attached to all of them. But it won't stop bugging me to change my mind. It should be noted that the PB support team has been unusually prompt and courteous and clearly intends to remedy the problem. I also note that PB did not update when a new version was posted. Nor, even when I clicked "Update Now" in the Add-ons page. I had to install the new version manually. Overall, I find PB to be an excellent, useful Add-on with superb support.
Great concept but how many times am I gonna authorise it to connect to my Evernote/Google accounts? Looks like with each reboot/new session of the browser-bad idea! I connect it once and I expect that authorisation to last till I revoke it from either one of the host apps...
We need the user to be logged-in on our website for the plug-in to work properly. The log-in is done via Google Account. But we don't force the user to re-authorise his/her Evernote account (if you are requested to do that repeatedly, that is probably a bug).
