fait son job.
Thanks for this great extension.
Since Firefox 58, the extension doesn't work when I open firefox (nor the keyboard shortcut neither the toolbar button). I must disable the extension in the extensions manager and then re-enable it and it works again.
Fantastic extension, makes it much easier to quickly pause a video. However it makes Google Play Music's not play the next song properly.
Great addon. Could you make another one that adds a "+" symbol on the current tab that when pressed opens a new tab next to the current tab? Thank you.
Nice addon but need to exclude Youtube pages which doesn't have ready to play content like videos page. Screenshot:https://i.imgur.com/fhA2edp.png
Please fix it.
This add-on is very useful, it allows you to easily play/pause a video from a different tab.
Thank you for letting us know the play/pause function is on the mute button. I would not have noticed this otherwise, I thought your addon was simply not working and was about to uninstall it!
While I absolutely love this extension, it has completely stopped working since about a week ago ( after being updated to firefox 56.0.2 (64-bit)). Any fix on this? I get the play/pause button on my tool bar but not on my tabs, and I've come to rely on this add-on quite a bit.
Adding a button onto a tab title is no longer possible with the new Firefox, unfortunately. However, the play/pause functionality was moved to the built-in mute button on the tab.
Extremely useful and simple, love this.
Great extension, only thing missing is media keys support. Keep up the good work!
OMG! This is a godsend mod for the mute button on tabs. Thanks for keeping it alive for the webextensions era.
Btw, please make a tutorial or a demo or a gif to make the users aware of the mute button thingy. Or some kind of "tip" when the user clicks the toolbar button
I've just tried this one and two of your other Firefox extensions. They all *work perfectly* and do exactly what they are supposed to. I recommend all of you to check them out as well! Bandcamp volume control? I never realised how much I needed all of this in my life ;D
Working on https://open.spotify.com/
This is just one of those add-ons that I cannot live without. But sadly I am doing exactly that right now, as this add-on is not updated to a web-extention format yet, making it incompatible with firefox 57+.
If the author could update it to the new Web-Extention format I would be extatic!
The WebExtension version is available through the beta channel at the moment. See https://github.com/DanielKamkha/PlayPause/issues/41 for more detail.
works great, hope they will make it webextension
It works as expected, and is really simple.
Sometimes the button is not being shown, or the play/pause image does not change when you click it.
But in General works really great.
This addon is simply the bee's knees. Being a tab-addict, not having to actually find which tab is playing to get it to shut up, is simply brilliant. What I really appreciate is, that when using the Smart Pause hotkey option, the playing tab is not just muted, but it's actually paused, meaning that when I'm ready to start listening again, I can hotkey it up-and-running again in an instant and pick up listening again from exactly where I left off and I don't even have to actually find the tab in question to do so! It simply doesn't get any better than that. :D
Thank you so much for making this addon. I don't know what I'd do without it.
One question: is it possible to assign hotkey to keyboard media button? I can't find the way to do this.
It dont work right on vk.com with video (just play/pause music).
But nice addon i want it for a long time
Fantastic job Daniel you did there, thank you !
Does what it should
Works very well. Have been using it for some time now.
Pandora just updated their web site, so the play button is no longer there, just the volume.
Is there an update coming?
I have just one small request - please make the paused icon smaller than it is now. It is way oversized compared to the slim playing icon. Other than that, 5/5 addon!
edit: sorry, i forgot to provide photo. this is in Pale Moon 27.1.0 Linux x86_64
