Love it. Minus 1 star as always changing focus to the new tab is annoying.

Really need to have open in background tab as an option. I would use this all the time, as I like to browse for links and then come back and review them, then return to whatever tab I wish.

Been using this for yrs, very useful but for some reason I can't get it to work anymore.

I prefer this add-on over Firefox' native behavior.

Tip: If you want to open the selected URL in a new tab, just middle-click or CTRL + left click on "Open selected URL" and the link will open in a new tab.

Nice, but does not work with 4-character TLDs such as .info.

This extension is almost perfect! I would change right click behaviour to open link in background tab, because now left click and right click do the same.

As others say, "open in new tab" would be nice.
Also the ability to open link in background, which I would really appreciate.

Besides that is it a good extension which I have been using for quite some time.

Good, but options like "open in new tab" are really needed.

Great addon! NO SELECTION of the url necessary! Just rightclick!

It's useful, but an "options" menu would make it even moreso. I'd especially like the option of opening a link in a new tab or window.

Thank you for this great add-on. I don't know what I did without it.

@ g beer: Click the mouse-wheel to open in new tab

Worthless. Get linkification instead.

Much needed: Open urls texts inside inputs fields(1lineOR+) by double-clic :-) Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hello,

Plain Text Links Version 1.0.1 and earlier with Firefox 3.6 on XPSP3 = thank you for your work, this add-on is very convenient for me, can i tell you that i can not live without your add-on on the web.

Please, since some versions, i can no longer open links that are in text entry fields for url. I would like to please return this functionality, but could you ensure that we can double-click on the link to open it without having to select it completely in an input field or in the textarea and without having to use the right click context menu. Thank you very much if you can provide these much needed improvements.

It's a great add-on ! Thank you :-)

Great add on , my only gripe is that it doesnt have the option to open in a new tab or new window. I know about the ctrl+click or shift+click options but it would be nice to have it pop up when you right click. Thats the only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars.

Other than annoying first-run advertisement page this is a great extension.

This functionality should be built-in feature in every browser.

Excellent. Thanks for updating. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This extension updated itself because it has now been officially updated after a long period of inactivity. New developer has taken over this extension. This extension is now maintained by Christopher Finke. He said he will keep it up to date now.
