It's a good idea to complement this but I can not give an opinion of how it works because my OS is not supported. Please hacelo for Windows ...

Could not get this to work at all. It makes a color bar box in the TOP LEFT of the screen (?) and crashes Firefox with a 8x00000fffffff error whenever I click the tiny TV in the corner. I'll have to delete it now to get Firefox to work again.

Hey, thats a good thing specially for people who wanted to other tasks along with watching vidoes. Pip though is available with various things but wasnt there with youtube and other things.
I will surely use this thing as it will be good for me and for others too i believe.

PiP – Amazing Firefox Add-on !! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I found this firefox add-on very interesting & user friendly. It has the unique capability of Playing videos over any Tab in Picture in Picture format. I hope it will soon work in Windows platform also. I love the concept and would like to view videos while browsing.

Great add-on, but needs polishing! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is great for us people who can rub our stomach and pat our heads at the same time. However, I kept getting little JS errors. Whatever. Now I can watch those ten hour tutorials while browsing the web! Thanks a lot! I will use this too much in my life.

I love the idea and definitely see myself using this to view news videos or music videos while browsing other websites. I had a Javascript error every time I clicked on the video though, but this didn't keep it from working afterwards. Awesome work and looking forward to a more polished version!

I actually really like this feature. It's one of the things that drives me crazy about Firefox - having to toggle between windows to see if my download is complete.

There are still a few things I would change. My perspective comes from my background in HCI, so it may be nit picky..

I think it would be nice to add in a percentage sign or x/total file size. Just some sort of visual feedback, in addition to the blue meter. It would help a lot since the meter does not fill the entire status bar. Or even add a line to where the blue meter end.

Also, when I switched it to mini-mode, I didn't know what to expect from changing that. Nor where it went. So it would be nice - at least in its first run - to have some kind of visual feedback letting the user know where it went.

Once again, these are picky things, but it might really improve your add-on.

Looks good! I'm going to keep using it.

When this works for Windows it will be one of the single greatest extensions ever created. It will also establish Firefox as superior to all other internet explorers in every way.
Keep up the great work with this idea.
