Cannot Download Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I just tried to download Timeout Preventer on FF 4.0 (Mac OS X 5.8), but get the error message: phpMyAdmin Timeout Preventer could not be installed because Firefox cannot modify the needed file. Does anyone know what the "needed file" is? This app is supposed to be compatible with FF 4.0.

Anyone else having trouble with FF 3.6.13 (and phpMyAdmin 2.11.4)?

It seems like after the update it has stopped preventing timeouts.

Nice work Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It's a pretty useful extension indeed. Only to register, though, it's possible to achive a similar result by increasing timeout using the parameter "$cfg['LoginCookieValidity'] = 3600 * somearbitraryvalue;" in your phpmyadmin's config.inc.php.

This is one of those extensions that reminds one why Firefox is a superior browser.

It performs a single, simple function that makes life so much easier for a developer. I found it yesterday and in that short time has become an extension that I will never again be without.

If you use phpMyAdmin on a local machine, get this extension now.

Many thanks to the developer for a first-rate extension.

This is a real useful extension. Thanks a lot! If you are a developer with your apache webserver sitting in your protected lan, phpMyadmin's permanent logout because of session timeouts is frustrating and no security issue at all. And it is not always possible to change phpmyadmin's configuration settings.
That is where "phpMyAdmin Timeout Preventer" comes in. Not only does it prevent from being kicked out but also from chosing too easy passwords

Just wanted to express my appreciation again for making this. It has been WONDERFUL to use. I use phpMyAdmin everyday. The constant auto log outs of phpMyAdmin after less than half an hour activity were so frustrating.

I've tried this using Plesk which opens phpMyAdmin and it kept me logged on after I normally would have been logged off automatically. I also tried it in another environment where I logged directly into phpMyAdmin with the same result. What a HUGE help, thank you! I also looked at the Add On code and couldn't find anything unsafe.
