Be careful with old versions!
These versions are displayed for reference and testing purposes. You should always use the latest version of an add-on.
On a personal note I would just like to apologize to everyone using the Photobucket Uploader. I know you have been experiencing outages with this, but that should no longer be a problem.
Essentially Photobucket had to make some changes on their end and never told me about them which basically broke it for everyone. I ended up hacking together my own solution for the problem but it did not abide by Photobucket's Terms of Service.
I have since spoke with them on the phone and we worked out a new agreement. Hopefully this is the last time anything like this happens.
Without even trying to communicate with me Photobucket told people that my add-on was broken and would no longer work. You can read about that here: http://support.photobucket.com/entries/21508269-Firefox-Photobucket-Uploader-Extension-Issues-4-3-2013-
Many users of this add-on have reached out to me asking me to fix things. Without any help from Photobucket I have finally figured out how to get this thing working again. That being said I cannot say for sure how long this will continue to work but I will do my best to keep it working as long as possible. I know many of you get a lot of use out of it so this is for you.
Improved uploading abilities. Binary uploads now implemented! What does this mean? https:// and file:/// uploads will now work and any http:// uploads that fail to upload by URL will automatically attempt to upload the binary.
Ability to view link codes on successful uploads. When the notification bar for a successful uploads, there will be a new button that says "link codes". These are the various codes you will need to display any uploaded images on another page.
Fixed bug that could cause installation problems on Windows machines.
Addition of settings page to control many of the new features.
Automatically log out when closing Firefox.
Set a default title and/or description which will be applied to every uploaded image, or change these defaults while uploading.
Set file names on upload or have them scrambled by default.
Tag images with a link to the page they were uploaded from.
Select which personal album uploads will be saved to or upload to public group albums. To add group albums you must first be on a group album page, then goto the extension's setting page and click "get from current webpage".
New statusbar icon for easy access to logging in/out, settings, home album and album organizer, with the ability to hide the icon if so desired.
Streamlined login flow. You no longer have to click the "close" button after logging in. Also added a way to temporarily enable cookies if they are disabled. This fixes a bug in previous versions where the user would be redirected to the Photobucket homepage when attempting to log in if cookies were disabled.
Code Re-factoring - Some users reported not being able to install the extension at all. This was caused by global namespace collisions. This should no longer be an issue. :)
