It's Alright but it could be better Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Well it's basically a wolf in sheep's clothing because all it is is a jpeg in pdf format. Although it's useful for research purposes in cases you need to quickly annotate something it's fine however the quality is coarse at best. Didn't have any problems with it besides the aforementioned quality If your just downloading a page for links then dont download this add-on because links dont work. But besides all that crap it's pretty good.

This is an excellent add-on just what I was looking for. There are so many times you come across a web page that you just want to snap up completely along with the pictures and formatting. And what better way to export this than save it as a pdf. The quality of the pdf's is very acceptable I don't know why all the others are complaining. In fact this keeps the size of the exported pdf's to a manageable level. Worked perfectly for me no bugs.

Thanks touchpdf!

Renders Acrobat Inoperable Rated 1 out of 5 stars

DO NOT install this if you have Adobe Acrobat installed on you windows machine. It rendered my Acrobat installation inoperable. I had to completely remove Acrobat and re-install it! Then go through all the update processes.

Poor quality nagware Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Outputs poor quality PDF (which just seems to be an image embedded in a PDF). Every time you use it an annoying popup to the authors site comes up. This piece of upsell/vanity alone makes this plugin well worth *avoiding*.

Horrible Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The saving the webpage as an image works just fine, but since this was meant to be an addon to save webpages as PDF that's where it's horrible.
I have been using one of those printer drivers that is used to "print-to-pdf" system wide and it works great, but I wanted something for FF to make a bit quicker and so I could leave my printer as the last used and not think able it when I go to print and let an extension to the PDFs for me instead.

I tried PrintPDF which is fine but it did make the PDFs about twice the filesize as the "print-to-pdf" drivers did, which in retrospect is a minor problem compared to this. This made them 5 times as big. The same webpage I tested this on, the "print-to-pdf" drivers the PDF is 218k, PrintPDF made it 449k, while pdftit made it 1,017k plus it look really bad.
It looks like a low quality JPG image but then when I tried using this to save the same page as a JPG with 10% quality it still looked better than the PDF does.

The PNG and JPG (at 100% quality) are just fine, just as good as if you were to take a screen shot.
The fact that the JPGs use jpeg instead of just jpg is a minor point that I don't really care for.

I also have to agree that the popup to touchpdf.com's website to tell me it's done is really annoying and needs to have the option at the very least to disable it. A simpler dialog box to tell me it's done is all I really need.

Feels like too much time was spent doing image filters and none to make pdfs look like the actual webpage does.

Good but needs some improvement Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It works very fast and is very useful for quickly saving a webpage (I've had some problems with using mht files so that's why I like using a quick pdf coversion).

The problems, as mentioned by others the quality is quite poor and it does not recognize text so the pdf has limited value. Also, I'd prefer the context menu to have a 'pdfit with default settings' option so I don't have to select 'save as pdf' and 'whole page' every time. Lastly, the pop up is a little annoying. Not a horrible nuisance but unwelcome nonetheless.

In summary, flawed but VERY useful if you prefer speed and simplicity over more sophisticated converters.

It's really good but it has an obnoxious thing I wasn't able to get rid of: when you press Alt+1 a popup to save an image file opens, which is not bad at all but there's no way to change it (that I find). And the thing is, I constantly need some of the symbols that come up with Alt+1##

This add on is great! Why? Because it does what the other pdf add-ons do not do..........this add on is a must have for research and highlighting specific pages! Thank you :-)

Awesome Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Worked great for me, better than another similar (and seemingly more popular) addon. Image quality was fine. As mentioned by others, hyperlinks don't work, but it gets the job done.

Should be called JPEG It instead Rated 2 out of 5 stars

The add on can create a PDF from a webpage, BUT it is a PDF that has non-searchable text and non-working hyperlinks. What you get is a PDF that is essentially just an image file.

Suggestions to improve PDFit Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I should suggest a improve to the Firefox extensión PDFit.

It's a very useful extension but it will be better if it can create PDF files by a selected part of a web page.

In the 1.1 version it makes PDF files from a whole page or the visible area. I suggest that it will fantastic if we can create a PDF file from a selected area not only from the visible area or the whole page.
