- Rated 2 out of 5by EliVanto, a year agoI considered giving a 1 star, but it does save pages to pdf. However, I installed the extension to save a ChatGPT response as a PDF, and the PDF is almost incomprehensible. It changes the bg-color to white making it hard to read
- Rated 2 out of 5by Korwin, 2 years agoAfter clicking on the add-on button on the panel, a PDF document opens with the current page disfigured, nothing can be read. In addition, this document is located on the developer's site, and is not generated in the browser and offered for saving!

This addon works offline and because of that is way superior to privacy:
https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/print-to-pdf-document/ - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 15536695, 3 years agoPDF Mage was previously free to use. If you now download a page to PDF, the document is suddenly protected by a password. You can't do anything with it. Unfortunately. It was a good extension. I have removed the extension again.

posted 3 years agoHi. The password is the default restriction of the free version of PDF Mage. If you go to PDF Mage "Options" page in your browser, you can choose between the password protection, or adding the "Free version" note to the footer of the generated PDF documents. If you choose the latter option, your documents will have no password and no printing restrictions. - Rated 2 out of 5by Bo Carlsson, 3 years agoPDF Mage makes a pretty nice pdf but it is password protected and printing is disabled.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Lukeomatik, 4 years agoWell, it saves web pages keeping CSS (graphics) and let you select the HTML element you are interested to but the addon require an external server to do the work... so... no thanks
- Rated 2 out of 5by stargate, 4 years agoMakes PDF good, but I really don't like the fact that unless I pay this person I can't do anything with the PDF except read it! I don't like being FORCED to pay for something. If it is good people will generally contribute, if not(or they are forced) they won't. I think I'll try a different one.

- Rated 2 out of 5by bruna, 5 years agoInutile in quanto non permette poi di stampare il pdf nella versione free
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 12461751, 5 years agoсоздает скриншот эрана и сохраняет его в pdf. Конечно, по содержимому в компе не отыщите.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 15256743, 5 years agoIt's not that great. It constantly distorts the webpages once converted to PDF. Other extensions I've tried work much better. I'm used to Opera where the option to convert a page to pdf was built right in. Other extensions such as "Print to PDF" work as well as that one did, but not this one.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14654417, 6 years agoSaves web pages well as a pdf, does not mention they are password protected. I saved 300, attempted to merge them only to find I couldn't due to the password protection.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14636275, 6 years agoWhen it works, its great, when it doesnt its so disappointing like sometimes you tell it to save the pdf and then when you view the pdf it made its like all white blank :( so disappointing. however when it does work, it gets EVERYTHING nothing is left out which is Great. A lot of screen pdf makers out there, always leave big parts out which pisses me off.

- Rated 2 out of 5by thugcee, 6 years agoIt doesn't save what you are viewing, but sends the URL from currently opened tab to an external service.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13566364, 7 years agoEasy to use, but loses some of the original formatting. Using FF57 on Windows.

Error reading current page: chrome.browserAction.setBadgeBackgroundColor is not a function - Rated 2 out of 5by menet, 7 years agoDoes not function without web access.
In my only try it don't work. I stop it after waiting some seconds.
There is no right click possibility to ask a PDF creation of the web page - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 12663304, 7 years agoThis addon works well enough if you are very undemanding. You can't customize the document, before it is created. The built-in PDF printer in Linux is more versatile in this regard. And this addon exhibits the typical Web -> PDF conversion errors: content consumes the whole paper page, i.e. no margin and page breaks cause funny text breaks. Just another example of how insufficient the paper model is in the digital age. My suggestion: ditch it and just save the web page (Ctrl+S).
Edit: Web page content is sent to pdfmage.org. They promise to delete documents after 10 minutes. A privacy policy is missing.
