love it thankyou but sometimes i get a completely blank white empty drop down list. the list comes and goes and i never know when it will be there or not. where has the list gone. would also like another button for most used text as well as the one you have that will deliver the last text line used if you click on it.please fix& explain then i rate it a 10!thankyou kindly.

What a shame - new version is worse Rated 1 out of 5 stars

v2.1.2 was perfect. Simple and effective. Now it's just too complicated and tedious to set up. Even when you've set it up, it's then more confusing than in the past.
This add-on was much better in it's previous incarnation where simplicity was given higher priority than functionality.

It does what it is supposed to. Which is sooo close to what I want. I want to do the same thing but for blurbs of text (several lines, preserving formating)

Personally I don't see how right click > point > choose your line of text... really saves you much time with single lines of text.

NEW ONE SUCKS Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Best version is 2.1.2.. the new one just sucks. The main goal of this type of extension is to simply \"paste email addresses\" which 2.1.2 does. The new version just complicates everything. Settings are screwed up...it\'s a buggy mess. Do yourself a favor and STAY w/ 2.1.2

Can I block updates? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I do not find current versions of this extension to be useful. I have re-installed the best of all versions, 2.1.2 -- but every time there is a new update available to this extension, I keep having to uncheck the \"install now\" box in Firefox\'s update section to prevent the newest version from installing. Can anyone tell me if there is away to block updates from making it to the update section? Or, once it\'s there, can I delete it, somehow?

2.1.2 Success Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Re-installed the old one, and it came back in with all my old info filled in. BEAUTIFUL.

Don't Like the New Not yet rated

I have to also add on, here. New one cluttered, hard to re-set any info entered in it. Once you fill out a space - that's it. Only slightly better than not having it. Old one is completely useful however. I'm now trying to get the older version back in right now. Great job on THAT one!

Re-installing 2.1.2 Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I'm here to reinstall the older version. I tried the using the newer version 3.0 its terrible compared to previous simple strait forward add on. Paste email is one of my favorite and most used add ons. Firefox feels incomplete without it. Version 2.1.2 that is..version 3 +...no thanks,

Very useful but old version was better Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I have used this extension since its inception and have found it indispensable. Thank you so much for creating it!

Unfortunately, the new version puts the entries in alphabetical order and doesn't seem to allow re-ordering. I prefer to access PE via the context menu rather than using the toolbar button, so I have no way of applying my default selection (as far as I can tell) which now appears in the middle of the list. Please consider updating PE to allow users to put the entries in whichever order they prefer.

Also, thanks for directing us to where we can download the old version, which I have done. Unfortunately, now every time I start Firefox it tells me a new version of PE is available, which is a bit of a nuisance.

I am still rating it high because the concept of the extension is great but I really hope you update it allow for re-ordering of entries. If you do, I am sure you will get many rave reviews!

New is not Better Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I agree with ripper6666. From a nice simple tool to an overdone, mini-bloatware. Thanks, at least for making the old version available

What happened to the Paste Email I Loved Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Paste email was a beautiful program in it's pure simplicity. Updated to latest version and was completely disappointed to the point I deleted the app. It's like the difference between Google and MSN start pages. Simple, clean interface compared to overcrowded mess. Am I the only person left that likes mini-apps that do a very specific task? Paste Email served a very specic fuction and it was excellent at doing it. Now it is getting like all MS products. Has to do everything, even if done poorly. If I could only have the old version. Try this new one, you may like it. I for one am dissappointed in the 'added' features.

Old version still available

The changes to Paste Email were done to satisfy many user requests. The old version (2.1.2) can be found at http://customsoftwareconsult.com/extensions/pasteemail/PasteEmail.html#pe212

Saves time, Always Works! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I use this every time I am online; when I had to reinstall my system, this was the first extension I added. I use it for phone numbers, physical addresses...everything but passwords. The only suggestion I would make is increasing the number of allowed fields--but that's only because I find it so useful.

Thank for that nice gadget, very useful.
I was just starting to develop one, but I find yours.
One feature could be added is: masked passwords "********" with an alias name as p1, .. PforGizmo for display in table. They should be encrypted ounce stored in table. Socrate

Most Useful Tool Ever! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This has to be the MOST useful tool that I have found! I use it on a regular basis and have even started using it to paste my name and address parts, as well.

Thanks for making this and keep up the good work!
