Great for transferring to KeePass 2 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I was after some headache-free way to transfer all my FF passwords to KeePass. Following the tips from another comment here, I used the CSV format and it worked perfectly. Thanks!

XMl doesn´t work with Keepas 2 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

nice tool respect for your work. 4 Stars :)

I tried to export my saved passwords from Firefox to import them in Keepas 2.28. First I tried XML which didn´t work in any way :( after a 1/2 h I tried CSV and this worked perfectly.

The tool is very needful!!! Who wants to copy his whole password List every paasword one by one? Yeah no one because it is wasted time :) That is why this tool is even great! :)

Thanks to the developer :)

Great Add-on. As I get older I find I forget my passwords so I keep a list in my safe. The export feature is very helpful as it allows me to export as an CVS file I can print out. How ever I have found two caveats so far. If you use the uppercase 2 aka the at sign @ or the uppercase 7 aka the ampersand & in you password the add-on generates %26 and %25 respectively. for these characters in both the XML and CVS export. I can live with that but it does cause me to be very careful when creating password.

Working perfectly even on FF36! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

To import passwords simply go to addons/passwordexporter/options and import passwords as usual !
Thank you for this adon using it for years..never failed me..

Super aber Datum fehlt / Super but date are not delivered Rated 4 out of 5 stars

English - Text down und Deutsch oben:
Grundsätzlich ein Super - Tool, aber leider wird kein Datum übernommen. so dass im KeePass nicht mehr unterschieden werden kann, welches die neueste Version ist. ( Ziel: Import aus diversen FF im zentralen KeePass zusammenführen)
Basically a super - tool, but unfortunately no date provided. so in the KeePass no longer cannot be differentiate, which is the latest version. (Target: import from various FF in the Central KeePass merge)

i was tearing my hair out over the 28 to 34 password problem , until i found this

Used this addon to transfer passwords from FF28 profile to FF34 profile Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Painless and faultless. FF28 uses a different method of storing passwords than later versions, so it's not just a simple matter of transferring a couple of files. Googled for a solution and found this. Works great!

The specs say it is supported under FF 3.0-34, but 33.1 says it's NOT supported. So which is it?

Installed and is no longer working with the new version of Mozilla Firefox 33. I request that the inventor correct this problem that complement "Password Export"

This user has a previous review of this add-on.

Please add compatibility for Pale Moon with new GUID {8de7fcbb-c55c-4fbe-bfc5-fc555c87dbc4} so that the buttons re-appear into the Options|Settings|Security GUI.

I was unable to import the password file that I had exported as CSV. Despite being a CSV I got the "XML parsing error". The CSV file was intact and I could view it in LibreOffice Calc. Went back and exported as an XML and was able to import it with no issues.

Unfortunately Importing exported XML File doesn't work "XML parsing error. Passwords could not be imported."

The best plugin for Firefox in my opinion, I've been using it for a long time and it's super useful. Just remember to export your data every so often so you are not out of luck if you have to reload your computer etc.
