Bis repetitam Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I'm posting here what I've mentioned to the author via email (2015-10-31) because I've received no answer at this time :

I'm running PageZipper on Firefox 42.0 64-BIT (now 44.0) / Windows 7 64-BIT.

With PageZipper active (green icon and overlay on page) if I click a link which will open the destination page in a new tab when I return to the original page (that handled by PageZipper), PageZipper is no longer active (icon no longer green - overlay on page disappeared (logical if PageZipper non-active) - loaded pages remain though (as if I had myself deactivated PageZipper).

This does not happen with PageZipper Version which I use consequently for the time being. I have no problems with version except one slight page layout (an extra space at the top) noticed up to now only with (the only way I call Google except for its news).

I'm bringing this issue because I'd wish to use as always the latest version, here that of PageZipper, but cannot because of above mentioned.
Autopaging, be it as an add-on or as a script with Firefox anyway is on the decline not to mention its heaviness. PageZipper is really a valuable tool for eternal scrolling.

What more to say? My hope for the continuation of PageZipper and of course my thanks for your work. There is no alternative at this time to PageZipper, it is unique!

EDIT : I'm reposting because not only the developer doesn't answer but the comment had been removed.
I repeat, above mentioned occurs occasionally, with the add-on when strangely never with the bookmarklet (which calls the script at the developer's homepage) which means it's related to the add-on's integration to Firefox as an add-on.
The thing is good otherwise, why doesn't the developer answer?

Good addon

Well done, but... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It is a great Add-On. Congrats! Unfortunately, on this link is not working: Can you do it works on this link, too?!

Awesome Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I really love this tool. It did a great job at replacing autopager. The only one thing I don't like of the turn on feature. I want this on every page I turn to so it would be really cool that it was automatically turned on rather than having to switch it every time I go on a page.

Works with aound 90% of webs Rated 5 out of 5 stars

And that is freacking awesome and impressive, 5/5.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

excellent addon, lite and fast; it only misses a "auto load in background" option, if you are loading pages with a lot of pages

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The whole Auto Paging Concept has become something I cannot be without, when dealing with lists. The auto page add on that allows you to do all kinds of fun tweaking to get the page the perfect way you want it, seems to not really have any support from its creators anymore and its just being pieced together by users. It also seems all it's users which see change don't all seem to know exactly what we are doing. This auto page utility can also be found as a bookmarklet from their site, the add on seem to work better for me, at least. My only irritation is how it makes the entire next page apprear below rather than the other add on which adds the additional list entries as thought the list isnt separated. This causes a lot of extra data to need to come into the browser and with each new entire page firefox starts to slow and then.....CRASH. and you have to start over. I wish the preferences would allow for some tweaking but I do say it's much faster than the other. I cannot attest to the speed while I have been driving

Semplice e soprattutto funziona

Well, it works Rated 3 out of 5 stars

(+) PageZipper works from the box on many sites. Unlike Autopager it can`t skeep unnecessary parts of page, but that the price of simplicity.
(-) It turned off by default for new page, so I have to switch it on for every new tab and even after refreshinf the page. It`s wery unusefull, just like press "next" on the page.

PageZipper new version 1.4.3 problematic Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm rating 5 stars for previous PageZipper version 0.6.2 which has always ran perfectly well here including on latest Firefox 32.

This new version 1.4.3 either displays only first two pages without compatibility mode either following pages but distorted.

When it works don't change it unless improvement, and never change it with loss!

I'm sticking with previous version 0.6.2 which I've set in its install.rdf to version 2.0.0 to avoid at this time update.
This previous PageZipper 0.6.2 has always ran perfectly well, and still does. But it may have had issues on other configurations which is certainly why a new version is proposed.

Hi, thanks for letting me know. I've updated the extension to fix the problem where the add-on only loads the first 2 pages. Unfortunately the new version has to reviewed by Mozilla, which can take months. In the mean time, you can find the latest version here:
You should be able to install the addon directly from that link. If that doesn't work, in tools > addons there is a settings box in the upper right. Clicking it will allow you to install the plugin from a file.

Solves the damn 'Next Page' button! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A must have extension from those nefarious Next arrows! Had for five years already!

Finally another awesome add-on !! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

PageZipper does all I want.. I was about to use AutoPager because it has a lot more users. After I install that, I learn that I might need to set my own rules. It's not too hard, but I'm too lazy.PageZipper works, why bother.AutoPager does behave differently, it can auto page part of the page, not entire page. Anyway I like PageZipper. The ctrl arrow feature is awesome ;-)Good work and Thank you Jon

psjimm, youre an idiot Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Not everyone shares my discombobulation, I'm sure. Perhaps I can't see the forest for the trees? Maybe it's due to my 45 year umbilical-like attachment to computers.
NOTE: One star only because it was required. Please imagine a 'minus' sign preceding the star. since the egregious waste of time is far too often of little or no concerned to those guilty of it's squander.
I finally got around to trying this add-on, again, with no change in the results.
I got 50 pages of Facebook Help Wanted solicitations.
Windows 7 Ultimate, Firefox 22.0, a long time user of FF and available add-ons, forty-years of daily computer use. Never surprised by technology that comes with a rather time-consuming learning curve. Got used to that, starting with Windows 3.1 all the way up with every subsequent version, to Win 7. THIS is easy. It's hard to replace an operating system but an add-on that doesn't function from the git-go? Click Remove. Move on. Not sure if I HAVE to select at least one star, if so perhaps I can nudge up a minus sign next to it...
I suppose that I have an unspoken moral obligation to provide whatever helpful information I deem relevant however it was touch and go: I cannot believe that my disappointing experience is a singular, unique event, that, at the very minimum, some caveat might have been included to prevent the wasting of so much of my time. That's the insult. You guys own that.

Did the add-on work as you expected it to?
No, it did not.

What features did you like or dislike?
I can only speak for the one feature that I did experience: Facebook needs to hire a professional employment agency to acquire staffing. The 50 duplicate pages scrolling by were hardly an aphrodisiac, even to the millions still unemployed.
This feature was not expected nor appreciated however illustrative of problems encountered when exponential growth encounters a limited and unskilled inventory of available staff.
Was it useful?
Perhaps to Facebook. Perhaps to the Add-On Devs. Depends if they can effect the significant changes to make the product functionally useful to an internet neo-phyte, which I expect is their target market, fug-git-about-it if they're aiming at the more experienced.
Was it easy to use?
Sure. 50 clicks told me all I needed to know.
Will you continue to use this add-on?
No. Too many other Add-Ons that provide quality results to go along with their marketing claims.
This is all the time that I am willing to make available for this dysfunctional offering.
Not interested in any further dialog...."

this guys an idiot... this addon, does EXACTLY what the description says it does... go to customize toolbars... put icon on any toolbar.... when ona page that has, any NEXT, PREVIOUS, <, >, <<, >>, ANYTHING like that, even just numbers... click icon... and pages load automatically.... just like the description says.

the ONLY thing I would want to see, is a way to set auto zipper to be on by default when you open FF, other than that, its perfect...

i think this psjimm guy just wanted some place to prove that he knows big words... cuz none of that review makes ANY sense... this addon does exactly what it says, it does NOT load 50 identical pages like this guy claims... i think maybe the instructions were much to complicated...

o and another thing i found funny, he says "forty-years of daily computer use." then continues to say, "starting with Windows 3.1 all the way up with every subsequent version, to Win 7." thats funny, because, windows 3.1 was released in 1992... which is 21 years ago... EVEN if he had said from MSDOS all the way up blahblah... msdos was released in 1981... 32 years ago... yet he has fourty years of DAILY computer use? whata tool, get the f out..

First of all, it works! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

There are several addons that say, that they shrink images, but this happens only in words and not de-facto.
This one does what it says and this is fully enough for 5 stars.
Regarding additional toolbar on working area - it is indeed a little big.
But I have one proposal - to make it hovered: when the addon is switched on - it appears on few seconds and dissapears.
But it is enough to remember its position.
When user brings cursor to this area - the toolbar appears and user can click on its buttons/icons.

Need more work Rated 3 out of 5 stars

A very useful add-on but the UI is not good.
First of all, automatic activation is a must.
Second, you have shrink your add-on icon in order to prevent enlarging the toolbars. How come you manage to create such a big useless icon?
And third, "options area" to avoid shortcuts and likewise stuff to prevent intervention with other add-ons'.

Please make PageZipper to stay on. It is quite annoying to keep hitting the button over and over again.
