Interesting snapshot tool. More advanced than some others.
I tried to take high res. screenshots and it instantly my web browser became unresponsive and i had to close it from Alt+Ctrl+Del. Next thing I did was removing this crap application!
I am sorry that Page Saver did not work well for you. Sometimes capturing large pages results in low memory that can cause a significant slowdown. If you email the URL of the page that you were trying to capture to firstname.lastname@example.org, we will investigate.
Been using this for a couple of years and thought I should rate it to give it the 5 stars it deserves. Simple to use and I find it incredibly useful to be able to take a screenshot of an entire webpage at once. I often use it when I want to save a copy of an article to read later.
A great extension!
I tried almost all the similiar add-on on AMO, this one is the best.
Amazing! I wish I had found this addon MONTHS ago! I messed around with separate "screen grabbers" and "web page capture" applications but none of them did exactly what I wanted. This addon is simple to use, simple to set up and QUICK! It does *exactly* what I need it to do when I need it to do it. It has literally saved me HOURS of time! Can you tell I like it? LOL I am definitely going to throw a donation toward the creator of this addon. They deserve it!
Please accept my English reply.
Unfortunately, Page Saver's "Arrange to capture Flash content" option does interfere with the proper operation of some web pages. My suggestion is to only enable that option if you need it (most pages – even many pages that use Flash – are captured sucessfully without it).
This is a great addon for Firefox. Whenever I install a fresh copy of FF I see to it that I have this addon installed also. The ability to format the filename according to the current time and date is the most useful feature for me.
This addon is in my top 3!
Every time I install a fresh FF, I add: AddBlock, TabMixPlus, and PageSaver :)
I double loved it when it was able to capture Flash based pages.
Plus it works on Mac (which is not the case for Fireshot).
Thank you guys!
Very good, simple and useful
Wish add a feature that can snap selected zone
Our Page Saver Pro edition includes a region capture feature. See https://pearlcrescent.com/products/pagesaver/pro/
I've tried more than a few screenshot capture addons, and Pearl Crescent PSB is one of the best. Unlike the others, this gives the option to set shortcut keys to capture the page. It also allows one to remove or keep context menu items, (very important if you like simple menus)!
The length of pages this addon can handle is impressive. Whereas other addons gave me errors on long pages, Pearl Crescent Page Saver saved images almost 33,000 (yes, 33 THOUSAND) pixels in length! Wonderful addition to Firefox. :)
Music always next next until remove this add-on.
Unfortunately, that web site does not seem to work from the U.S. where I am located. But if Page Saver is interfering with correct operation of a site, it is usually caused by our "Arrange to Capture Flash Content" option. Please turn that option off and enable it only when you need to capture a page that uses Flash content.
I'm still rating the addon 4 stars, because it's worked so beautifully for years. Sadly I'm having to uninstall it, because it stops YouTube videos from playing. Oddly enough Hulu still plays, and the Flash movie on the "Check your version of Flash" still plays, but YouTube is dead....UNTIL I disable/remove the Pearl Crescent add-on.
I've tested and verified this on 2 different machines, one running XP with Firefox 18; the other running Windows 7 and Firefox 18. Both have the latest (at this writing) versions of Flash installed (11.5.502.146) and the Firefox Shockwave Flash plugin (v11.5 r502).
I know it sounds crazy, but I've spent the past couple of hours testing this. disabled/re-enabled/safe mode/disabled/re-enabled this addon. With it enabled, YouTube videos are all a black box, without it, they start and play fine on 2 different machines.
Another annoyance (to me as a developer, not to the average user, most likely), the CSS errors from Pearl Crescent "bleeds over" when doing an initial error check on another page in another tab using the Web Developer tool bar.
Best screenshot addon ever! Saves parts or the whole webpage with several features - the basic version is just enough for this for me.
I bought the Pro version, and it works fine,it might be the best screenshot taker on Firefox, just one more suggestion,
could you please provide some toolkits for editing the region we select to take a screenshot?
Thank you for your comments. Please contact us via email to email@example.com so we can discuss and better understand your suggestion.
It is impossible to save skrinshot. Not enough free space.
I am sorry you are running into a problem. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with details such as the web page you are attempting to save and version of Firefox you are using.
Thank you for the feedback.
Does EXACTLY what I need with no fuss.
This addon has the potential to compete & in some case , replace grizzlyape's "Screen Capture Elite" addon
Самое надёжное и удобное дополнение для снятия скриншота. Использую его постоянно. Огромное спасибо разработчикам.
Best page saver for Firefox, not only IMO but as a true truth :)
Nice to discover this update of the best page saver of all times.
Stay in peace!
i will not browse without this thing...u did replaced screengrab thousand way better...fast and simple!
Simple user interface, but does not always work for pages using Flash. Also sometimes seems to cause some shortcut combinations to stop working, and instead takes a screen shot (like Ctrl+C). Off-course this might be caused by interactions with other Addons. I miss Screengrab. (Review for FF 8.0)
Thanks for your feedback. Please let us know which Flash pages are not captured (we know Page Saver is not perfect in this area). Also, keyboard shortcut problems can be solved by restarting Firefox one time after you modify the keyboard shortcut settings within the Page Saver options.
works very good, inclusive Flash
It does *NOT* get flash. I am using FF6 in Ubuntu 11.04;
I did not like this add-on.
Thank you for trying Page Saver. I am sorry you did not like it. Regarding the Flash capture issue, people have sometimes encountered problems with a specific web site or Linux distribution. If you email more information to email@example.com, we will be glad to debug the problem.
