by piecevcake, 5 years agoI use this addon a lot, where I want to markup tabs for the current session only. (Doesn't clog memory like addons which store markups between sessions, + don't have to manually remove them all when you're done.)
The only markup addon which adds notes INLINE (not stickys which obscure page contents and aren't next to the markup), with nice simple functionality for editing and jumping between marks. The markups paste with original page text into MS Word, with line breaks to separate them from original text.
Works perfectly (except in MOZILLA 'protected' pages+PDFs), no bugs.
Possible enhancement: OPTION to save marks between sessions and/or export them, but keep default as session-only.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13847359, a year agoI was looking for a simple, two action highlighter for reconciling two things. With this I can select text, right click, then click on PageMark, so its 3 actions - but at least it isn't 5 like some others.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Piecevcake, 2 years agoVery useful for multiple temporary highlights and inline notes, notes copy/paste with the page text.
# Tips: hold down Alt key to select text or click "+" or "Note" in links; Press Tab after click "+" to edit a note, and jump between notes in edit mode
- 2 feature requests:
-- shortcut to mark selected text. (When text in link selected, Rightclick,P opens the link in a private window instead of marking it- annoying!)
-- option to make marks/notes persistent for the current URL would be GREAT. - Rated 1 out of 5by Cianoz, 2 years agoInstalled, I can only mark repeatedly a paragraph, but where can I see what I marked? No toolbar, no button, no right click menu. Poor usability.
- Rated 4 out of 5by 南无阿弥陀佛, 3 years agoCool work. Possible enhancement:
1. make the Tool menu available in the right-click menu of the browser button. Cause the toolbar usually hides.
2. double-click the browser button to go into view mode of the current note.
3. use page title in file name when save mark.
4. Select some text and popup a mark icon at the end of selection, click it, then mark. Like some page translate app. Right-click and select PageMark is not so handy. - Rated 5 out of 5by Rizwan Siddiqui, 3 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by gnu_d, 4 years agoI want to report a small bug: Once the extension is enabled in Firefox Nightly, all custom TextAreas don't work with newlines, seen in Gmail, Facebook, Twiiter. You cannot paste anything with newline, you can't press enter, it's being overwritten for some reason. If I disable the extension, and refresh Gmail works fine. Could you restrict the extension to only work with sites in the whitelist or have a blacklist, so that users can add gmail or some other broken site. Thanks.

posted 4 years agoThank you for reporting this!
I've pushed a new version (1.2.4) that auto-disables the plugin for certain sites (Google, Facebook, Twitter) and sub-domains. This should remedy the issue while I look into whitelisting/blacklisting.
