After some changes it works also with Firefox 25.
You have to replace the conditions
if(elem instanceof nsIAnchorElement)
if(typeof HTMLAnchorElement != 'undefined' ? elem instanceof nsIAnchorElement :
elem instanceof HTMLAnchorElement)
and so on see https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/link-and-forminfo/versions/ differences between version 2.0 and 2.1.
Link tab, right click on row ,choose "Select All" then can not copy the result on Firefox 20
Both Forms and Links tab are showing up in my Page Info panel on the latest FF version.
No idea why it's marked as incompatible.
Love this addon! Please keep it alive.
Works as expected in FireFox 4.0, except that the icon for Foms and Links is the same as for the Media tab.
If anyone is interested in taking over this project and bringing it up to date, I will provide an external website, hosting, and help desk.
Please update for current FF version.
For the time being, I am using this:
Link And Forminfo 1.0.6
by White Alice0775
Really need an update for this. This is essential for any developer or designer. I manually updated the install file to work with 3.6.3, but lost the capability to copy and paste urls from the page info dialog box.
I changed the max version number in the install file, you can get it here: http://www.mediafire.com/?gm0zwdjn1dk
Now it works in Firefox 3.6!
This extension is so important to me, as a web developer, that I'm not updating to 3.6 until this extension is compatible with it. It's either that or install the experimental "Links and Forms 1.0" again, because apparently it's compatible with 3.6.
Just want to add a vote for upgrading this. It sounds like the structure of Page Info has changed, but this kind of Forms and Links info is still really useful. Hope you can find a way to upgrade this.
I hope and encourage there will be equality extension for FF3.6 and later. I have up dated to 3.6 and miss this great program from the start. I deplore you to make this extension available SOON for FF ver. 3,6.
Thank you very much!:) It will be so greatful if this extension is upgraded:)
But it would be even better if:
- we were not prompted to add the toolbar button on first startup (people who want the button can add it manually, but most people don't need it - there are other way to access page infos)
- we could *edit* form and link data (say, convert a get form to a post one, turn a hidden field visible, etc.)
- "tab"* icons would be different from the "media" one.
* I don't know if we can still call these buttons "tabs" - anyway they have the same effect.
This is useful and informative, but adding a more robust "save as" or "export" function would be a big plus. Currently selecting all links on the "Links" tab and copying to clipboard only copies the URLs by themselves. And unfortunately, even Snagit is unable to capture everything from the window (can't scroll it).
i will add this functionality, thanks
When I upgraded to FF3, I missed these tabs on the "Page Info" window. I'm glad this add-on brought them back. Unlike another reviewer, the lack of proper icons for these tabs doesn't matter to me. My primary computer is a Mac and I use a minimal theme for FF, so I don't see icons anyway. What I would like to see are tabs for the scripts and stylesheets on a web page. I don't remember if FF2 did that natively or if I used an add-on for that, but I used to have that feature and I miss it now.
You can group scripts and stylesheets using sort by type-column on Links tab.
Trop cool, merci.
J'avais toujours regretté la disparition de cette fonction depuis la version 3.0 de Firefox.
Fonction pourtant qui m'a été plusieurs fois utile.
I've tried other addons have this functionality (no. 6939 and 7459) and they're all works well. but this is the only one provides locale support, and the developer response my question quickly. My only complaint is that Firefox 3 doesn't have icons for Link and Form, so we'll see "Media" icon on these tabs, unreasonable.
