this could be the one! It's so simple, so clear, so efficiency. Everything is where it should be and everything looks so good.
Unfortunetly it has some issues with the Statusbar in PaleMoon 25.5.
if you can live with it then this one is for you!
A fantastic theme that harkens back to the wild west of the internet!
Easy 5/5 stars!
Off topic: On OS 10.10 under the latest version of Firefox from date of this rating, it doesn't render properly. See picture: http://i.imgur.com/yY7KFKH.png
Unsure the cause, but works like a charm on my other machines (not running Mac OS 10.10)
I love the look of this theme, I've been using it for a long time. I HATE when Firefox tells me it will be disabled if I update, so I wait...
Really love this theme, hoping it gets updated soon, so I can continue using it with current versions of Firefox.
Would be so much better if it had the Netscape throbber. Also the bookmarks menu disappears when the menu bar is hidden.
i am loving this theme. it's light & has a clean look plus it takes me back to the first year of internet browsing. Thanx for this bro. It even works with colourfultabs addon so i am a happy man
hi,i think you add "open TAB" button in tab bar, that's cool and perfect!
any way this theme is best class!
Please add a code to support MacOSX, it's easy: you just add custom scrollbars as it's done in iPox, Whitehart, Silvermel, Stratini, Rein, or in Smoke or FennecFox (not from default theme)
I will consider this possibility, but doesn't the theme work on a Mac Firefox (since it seems to work in Linux)? Or is it only about the scrollbars identical to those of a MacOS GUI?
The best interpretation of the old Netscape 4 series web browsers for Firefox.
It's really "Retro" theme :) I've never actually seen that old theme because I've been before using Internet Explorer.
for authenticity, I think as well that adding Netscape throbber will be much better for both Firefox and Thunderbird.
BTW have you planed to setup classic Netscape theme for Lightning/Sunbird?
This is the theme I always loved for Netscape. Would it be possible to use it for Seamonkey to get rid of their throbber, and use the same throbber look as the one that is on this theme? Also, leave the throbber as is, or change it to the original Mozilla M throbber. Great job. Thanks.
Thank you, MITGrad. :)
Should have the starburstsky throbber for authenticity.
Thank you, kriukov, for updating my favorite theme! This was the original theme in what was in the beginning, the Mozilla browser.
You are welcome. Please tell me if you found a bug or have an idea about the theme.
Not highest rate just because where is "starburstsky big N logo"??? I liked much Foxscape for that
I received similar comments about this earlier. Actually, the purpose of this theme is making Firefox look like Netscape along with preserving the traditional look (for example, removing the onmouseover flashy stuff in the tabbar, preferences menu, or the big back button, which are clearly non-orthodox), but I didn't think about complete "rebranding" of Firefox into Netscape. However, for the next version I will consider the "N" logo.
But don't forget to update version for FF2. I've tried FF3 but still sticking with FF2, waiting for all my favorite extensions get updated. And beside this FF3 lacking some charm of 2 (like GO button :)) So keep up!
Inutile, donc indispensable!
Inutile, donc indispensable!
this is the look i grew up with an LOVE.
no theme can look better than this.
i have a happy tear of nostalgia in my eyes when i see this beautiful look
There is one minor flaw. When hovering over the Back button, there is a small dark pixel on the bottom left.
Otherwise, it's perfect! Now my FireFox looks just like the browser I grew up with.
This issue is fixed in 0.2.1.
Give this man a medal!
I am so glad you are doing this. There is just one shortcoming, the Bookmarks icon. I believe the N-Scape1 theme that I was using on FF2 had the original Bookmarks and Bookmark folder icons from Netscape.
