v3.6 review, plus edit - thanks for fix in v3.7 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I saw the v3.6 update for this today and thought "Oh good, finally it might be fixed", as I could never get it to work before (no 'Open with' entries where they should be). After restarting, I was disappointed to see no change. I read the reviews here of people complaining it didn't work and the author's reply. So, I created a fresh Profile and installed it first. Lo-and-behold, it works. Next, I set about identifying the extension that was evidently conflicting. Got it first time - Tab Mix Plus. Looked at this extension's code but don't really know what is the problem.

So, I give this extension 3.5 stars (rounded up to 4) - it works, and the auto-detect installed browsers works nicely with IE and Google Chrome. But as it doesn't work when TMP is enabled it unfortunately means it is currently worthless for a lot of Firefox users such as myself, so I take off 1 star. And as there's currently no 'open with' submenu option..I take off a half star. Please, extension authors - if your extension has the potential to add >1 item to a menu, put it in a submenu, or at least give us the option to do so.

Thanks! Hope you can get the TMP thing figured out soon!

EDIT: Thanks for the prompt reply to the above comments and for your prompt release of v3.7 that has FINALLY made this extension usable for me and other Tab Mix Plus users. It works!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.7).

Why must I write a title?

I've just been working with a guy who was also having add-on conflicts, but he had hundreds of them installed so I never did work out what was causing the problem. I managed to get Open With mostly working properly (all except the tab bar buttons). I'm about to post the update to AMO, so you can get it when it's approved or from the 'older versions' link.

As for submenus, I'm getting there... slowly. I have seven other browser setups so I feel your pain.
