Open IT Online 188.8.131.52-signed.1-let-fixed.1-signed
Open IT Online allows you to open documents and images online without the need of any software to be installed. It supports Google Docs, Zoho, View Docs Online, Vuzit to edit/view documents and Snipshot, Pixlr, Sumo Paint, etc. to edit/view images.
About this Add-on
- Documents (*.pdf, *.ps, *.doc, *.docx, *.rtf, *.odt, *.sxw)
- Spreadsheets (*.xls, *.xlsx, *.csv, *.ods, *.sxc)
- Presentations (*.ppt, *.pptx, *.pps, *.odp, *.sxi)
- Images (*.jpg, *.gif, *.png)
IMPORTANT: Since Open IT Online 3.0 we do support PDF files too. To be able to use Open IT Online also with PDF files, you need to make sure that your PDF plugin is disabled, otherwise it will take precedence over our addon.
When Firefox encounters one of the file types supported by Open IT Online, it shows the "Open With" dialog: if you have installed Open IT Online, you will get, among the others, an option to open the file online. Choosing this option, you will also have the possibility to choose which online service you want to use to open the file.
Open IT Online shows you also the file size of the document you could see online: this information helps you determining if you want to open the file online or not.
If you get the error 'Invalid file hash (possible download corruption)', try to download the extension from SourceForge.net (https://sourceforge.net/projects/openitonline/).
This is not a problem with the extension but a general problem on addons.mozilla.org server.
IMPORTANT! We strongly encouraged to post any problem you may be experiencing at http://www.openitonline.com/forum/
We, in general, do not monitor discussions taking place here or at other popular forums.
