Doesn't work with pinned tabs :-( Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This plugin works in normal, unpinned tabs, but not in pinned ones. An external (?) link from a pinned tab is always opened in a new, unpinned tab. This seems to be steered by Firefox.

Another nice enhancement would be to add an indicator for links that would usually open a new tab or window (e.g. append "(new tab)" to address in the window footer of Firefox). This way there would be no need to install yet another plugin just for being warned when links plan to open a new tab.

Works exactly as planned.

For those requesting a hotkey option: For now, you can still be fairly by doing Right click + C which open the clicked link same tab by selecting that part of the context menu. Different order of click->key than hotkey->click but pretty fast anyway.

agree with previous comments, we need the choice of setting the opening in the current tab on the left click or ctrl + shift + alt + left click

This addon is good, but could you please somehow add a shortcut to the function? "ctrl+left click" or "ctrl+shit+left click" should force the link to be opened in the current tab, this would be AWESOME!

ps: to make it default left click behavior just change "Browser.link.open newwindow" to 1, but a hotkey is better than default behaviors

+1
Please make it to default left-click behavior. :)

This would be a necessary addon with that feature, but I don't need this addon until the left click behavior isn't included in it. :(

Fantastic! Need to be default left-click behavior Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Will be even greater if all left-click events are bound to this extension's functionality.!!

It will be better if this can be binded with a meta key.

simple yet effective! My only complaint would be there is no icon in the context menu for this entry.
