This is a very nice extension, alongside with the CSS code, it brings a mix of Windows 7 and MacOS feel into Firefox.

It saves up a lot of scrolling back and forth to find the tab you are looking for.

Thank you very much for this!

Note: I was trying to delete my previous review, as the add-on was updated and improved since then, but I don't think i can. :/

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).

It's a very cool add-on, but for me it's not working like in the picture.
Every tab gets resized to the minimum tab size, no matter if it's the active tab or one of the others.

I was expecting that the active tab and a few others around it (maybe the amount could be configured in the settings) would keep their regular width and those further away would only display the tab icon, allowing fast access and saving space.

/Edit: Just noticed I wasn't loged in when I tried to edit/delete this review before. Anyway, I've posted a new one.

Thanks for using this. The slim tabs you are seeing in the picture are pinned tabs. Other tabs will look like normal tabs but will reduce in width as you keep opening tabs. Please update your comment if you are seeing this behavior.

Your suggestion to show wider tabs around the active tab is a nice idea but implementing it just with CSS causes tabs to bounce back and forth. In case you use Stylish, I have uploaded it on http://userstyles.org/styles/44083/noverflow-addon-wider-active-tab-and-neighbors
