Recomendo New Tab Wallpapers para quem precisa do melhor add-on para colocar imagem na página de nova aba.
Literally is unable to function. You can select an image, but it never appears and you can't change the options for it.
Sad to say this not working for me. I tried both in firefox dev version 54.0 and firefox normal version 54.1. Addon only works as far setting background image, but when opened a new tab it's still white blank page without the pic set for background before.
Was working just fine till last FF update. I assume it will be fixed shortly.
Was recommended to try this as Browser Backgrounds no longer works, and sadly, neither does this with FF v49.0.1.
Doesn't work at all with the current version of Firefox.
Doesn't work. At first I think, that it's because of custom theme. But it doesn't work also with lightweight themes and default theme too.
Sadly it doesnt work with the latest version of Firefox.
I selected a local image and opened a new tab, but nothing changed, using a URL doesnt work either, i even restarted firefox but it did nothing, could that be fixed?
Doesn't work with Firefox 42. Please be so kind and update your plugin.
Thank you Mr. Matt Eastwood, I WHAT did you say and is now working, thanks for the help! I hope the developer of this add update it! great addition!
Just tried the workaround below, and it works great! Glad to have my wallpaper back on my new tabs.
It"s not working on the new FF version please update it.
I love this extension - really simple way to add some extra cool visuals to your Firefox. Alas, as some said below, it's no longer working in the latest Firefox.
Here's a workaround to get it to run until there's (hopefully) a fix:
1. Install the New Tab Tools extension
2. New Tab Wallpapers will work again
Now, as long as you don't click on the menu button in the top right corner of a new tab, you will just get a blank tab with your chosen background, as before.
I really love this app and use it ever since switching from Chrome to Firefox but with the recent Firefox Upgrade it doesnt work anymore and I rather dislike the fact that I have to get an extra addon to change my new tab wallpapers rather than having it in the options from the beginning, still a good app though.
Very nice app. Working without problem, but only 4 star because i also didn't see the TODOES option. It would be really nice if the random wallpapers change time to time.
The first tab by open the browser is still white. Would be nice if you could fix this.
So far I really like it although I don't see the option for the random person wallpapers, the Todoes. Does anyone know where that is?
After selecting image to use as wallpaper, nothing happened.
Worked perfectly until last Firefox update (37.0.1). Now it only shows half the picture, the other half is all black.
does what is promised
Extra! Does what it promised.
There is a MANDATORY element to configure that is missing here in this excellent addon : the configuration of the... "background color" !!!
Love this add-on! It's so easy to use and I love the fact that I can customize my new tab page with the photo of my choice. Perfect!!!
With Firefox 31 (adding the search field at the top of the new tab), on the new tab, I have an image that I use with this addon that shows up fine except at the bottom where the bottom part just below the last three tiles at the bottom, this bottom part is a white horizontal band instead of being filled with the rest of the image that I use.
I tried every option available for Size, Position and Repeat but it does not change anything and I still have the white horizontal band at the bottom instead of being filled with the image that I use.
Thanks to update your addon to rectify this issue.
Thanks for this awesome great addon to the developer.
