Developer response
posted 15 hours agoThis is not true at all. The extension works exactly as described. For local HTML pages there are restriction that are not New Tab Override's fault. But it's described within the add-on. The add-on also describes a workaround that works like a charm. So please be fair and don't give bad rating for things that are not the add-on's fault. - Rated 4 out of 5by Hai_ku, 6 days ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15129354, 19 days agoI gave this 3 stars because it has one major failing. When atab is opened I want it to go to the newly opened tab. This addon does not do that.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Freeze, a month agoThis extension does exactly what it says it does and does it well. It will even put the new tab page in focus when you open a new tab. In my case, I don't have to click the box to begin the search. Thank you Soren for taking the time to solve a major problem by creating this extension. :)

- Rated 1 out of 5by Speede-du-potar, a month agoDoesn't really do what it says it can do, there is a huge frame surrounding the new tab page, Palemoon opens an HTML file on my hard drive, Firefox is unable to do this!!!
I have uninstalled this Add-on, and yet when I click on "New Tab", I now have a blank page telling me that it was New Tab Override that opened it!
But I have uninstalled it! What is this unwanted virus ???
FRENCH :
- Rated 5 out of 5by Mr.surawut Paravek, a month ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by BP, 2 months agoFor me, New Tab Override saves Firefox as a browser. I have a local homepage with links of my own. I have been gathering them over 30 years or so, and that's what I want to see when I open a new tab.
