For me, New Tab Override saves Firefox as a browser. I have a local homepage with links of my own. I have been gathering them over 30 years or so, and that's what I want to see when I open a new tab.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14005394, 10 days agoIt's broken again. Stopped working yet again in SEPT 2022. Does absolutely nothing. New tab focus remains on URL/search field rather than on webpage as set. Does not use selected/desired page for new tabs any longer. Settings are different depending on which ones you open and where you open them. Makes no sense. Bad app. Rarely works. If FF/Mozilla allows it why do they constantly fight each other?

Developer responseposted 2 months agoThis is not true at all. The extension works exactly as described. For local HTML pages there are restriction that are not New Tab Override's fault. But it's described within the add-on. The add-on also describes a workaround that works like a charm. So please be fair and don't give bad rating for things that are not the add-on's fault.
