- by Firefox user 14269127, a year agoRated 5 out of 5Great - I found that I do still seem to need it in order to make links from the bookmarks toolbar open in a new tab - they weren't doing until I installed this, even though I'd made the config change.
- by TheWayOfYahweh, a year agoRated 4 out of 5This is a very useful tool, but if only there were a way to have it not effect the Home Button as well. Maybe an option available as to where or not one want their Home Button to be forced into a new tab?
- by Firefox user 14718401, 2 years agoRated 5 out of 5Thank you so much, domo arrigato! I was going nuts with FF 66 opening URLs and searches in the current tab, even though I'd set "browser.search.openintab" to "true" in "about:config", and I found your add-on. Great job all around, even if I had to tinker with it a little bit. Thanks, Piro-San!
- by Mike_tn, 2 years agoRated 5 out of 5Thank you. And this is still needed in FF Quantum 60.2 esr at least. Because, while about:config can be used to fix opening addresses pasted into the address bar, it does not fix searches from the search-box in-line with the address bar. This extension let's the menu bar search box open results in a new tab. Love it!
