Extension Metadata
netflix-1080p
Firefox extension to play Netflix in 1080p and 5.1 surround sound
How it works:
This extension includes a bundled version of Netflix's playercore, which is then modified to include additional profiles depending on what you select in the options and re-allow toggling the bitrate menu.
If you encounter movies with a stuck 540p, try the 'Automatically select best bitrate available' option. If this doesn't help, it's limited on Netflix's end and I'd appreciate help figuring out how to fix it. Get in touch if you can help.
If it gets stuck or acts weird, hit ctrl-F5 (or shift-click the reload button) to reload without using the cache. This may be occasionally required, but should not be required after disabling or removing the extension. If it does, that's likely a bug on my end, or another change in web-extension or caching behavior by Firefox.
Also get in touch for any issues whatsoever, please. I'm doing everything I can to maintain this and be responsive, but I'm just one person and some problems are on Netflix's end. Thanks.
