myBookmarks has become my go-to homepage for accessing my curated bookmarks. Firefox auto-updated to 20.0 and now "about:mybookmarks" no longer works. Instead, only a blank page is displayed. Please fix this very useful tool - thank you!

White Box/Blue background Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Miguel Garza is right -- I have seen the white box/blue background, too. It happened after I used the 'bookmark all tabs' option, creating a new bookmark folder containing four bookmarks. Disabling that folder from display restored the 3 columns. Yup, I know this isn't the place for support reports, but the support site link goes to a page that won't even display characters in my browser, and is not in the same language as this site...

Something is a tiny bit broken Rated 4 out of 5 stars

A previous reviewer mentioned that they were just getting a little white box in a blue background, and another reviewer brushed it off as "probably the user".

It's not user error.

I was getting the same thing. At first I thought it was an issue with the "Exclude" feature being broken by Firefox's latest update. Then I realized it only happened if one particular folder in my bookmarks was not excluded from display. I thought perhaps a title of a bookmark in the folder was too long. But no, I've got other bookmarks with much longer titles. I thought perhaps MyBookmarks had an upper limit of how many bookmarks it could display. But no, if I try to show *only* that folder, I get the tiny square on the blue background.

This is a good addon, but something inexplicable (to me) is buggy in it. Something about how it's dealing with...a particular text character? I don't know.

Also, it'd be nice if there was an option to show folders as unexpanded, and then click to open the folder and show contents.

Not working for Live Bookmarks? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I can't get this to to display livemarks any more. It was working before I updated to Firefox 13.0. Done all the "disable all other add-ons" etc type stuff but no clues. Have now restored disc and worked forward - confirmed that MyBookmarks simply stops doing LiveMarks at FF13.0..

MyBookmarks 0.6.4 in FF13.0 on Win XP SP3

Sorry to report problem here but can't find an English reporting point.

@Mezb - You will get the behaviour you want if you set the pref browser.newtab.url to about:Mybookmarks in user.js file or in about:config

Sorry, Livemarks does not work from FF13.0. (due to a change in Livemarks function.)
It is difficult to address with immediately.

Request Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This addon is awesome, I just wonder if it's possible to implement something like this, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-mod/
The same we have in about:bookmarks would be show in every new tab opened.

The Perfect Homepage Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love this idea, in fact, I've been making pages like this for years. Mine have been more graphical, but less useful. This setup is beautiful, and completely simple to alter. Well done. Note: for anyone who can't get their bookmarks to show up, you might be using the Bookmarks Toolbar (like me). Just go into 'show all bookmarks' and drag the folders from the toolbar right into bookmarks.

I use this all the time, really good, especially with being able to tweak the css to your own design!

Makes a great home page / new tab page / last tab page!

MyBookmarks Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I will happily pay you if you will add "drag and drop" so that bookmarks may be moved between folders.

Also, it would be appreciated if the links in each folder could
be alphabetized easily.

Thank you for an amazingly useful add on... I'd give 10 stars with these two options added :) Karen

...very nice Rated 4 out of 5 stars

nice add-on, my compliments to the developer, but I can't figure out what 'drag title block' means with regards to modifying the layout.

Nice, but needs some work Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This could be one of my favorite addons. It is perhaps the only addon of its class... that insert the bookmarks into a homepage/webpage. I like the ability to customise it's css looks, to move sections/folders around, etc... BUT:

1) When deleting a RSS headline/bookmark... it comes back upon refreshing the mybookmarks page. This is my biggest criticism.
2) scrollbars could be very useful... (see symbaloo.com for ex). Along with this notion is the idea of fixing maximum folder-section heights.
3) move individual bookmarks around, even from folder to folder.
4) when loading rss feeds on my older computer... the toolbars and whole screen turn gray while it takes maybe ten seconds to load up...
5) please provide an email link somewhere... even translating your homepage, I failed to find an email link or contact form.
6) rss previews (in a hover-popup or such) would be nice :)
7) Though I'm sure this falls outside the scope of your addon, or what you are currently interested in... I think that incorporating widgets (like weather or search engines, etc) would be a step in moving towards a truly functional HOMEPAGE. But this addon goes a long way, and again, would be much more useful if you could solve the top couple of problems. Thanks so much for writing it :)

PS - Symbaloo.com has a section called "major news" which streams rss feeds in equal sized boxes with vertical scrollbars. It also has tabs... to quickly navigate pages. And lastly it has widgets. It's also very bulky, when yours is compact, is too graphic intensive and slow... but yours is slow because it can load soo much rss feeds at once.
