that's what i'm looking for, it's very easy now
you have just to open a tab and the homepage will display into the new opend tab, instead of opening and clicking the home button, 1 action instead of 2
thank you one more time
Please don't ever change the cursor placing settings.
This was the perfect replacement for an old addon that must not like their users... This addon is quick and does just what it's supposed to...ie ... not putting your cursor in the address bar
Exactly what I was looking for :) Works perfectly! Thank you very much for this addon :)
Simple, does what it says, and developer responded to a question within 20 minutes.
Install, click plus on tab, homepage. Perfect!! Cursor in the search box with v8.0
Install, click plus on tab, homepage. Perfect!! Cursor in the search box.
Having just re-installed the computer I thought I'll have a look for some good add-ons. This one will do for me. EXCELLENT.
In one word: perfect.
- Preferable to New Tab Homepage because My Homepage sets focus to the search-bar if Google is your homepage, in stead of leaving focus on the address-bar.
- Works on Firefox 7.
I have used New Tab Homepage for as long as it has existed, but have now switched to My Homepage and am happy about it.
Very nice little add-on for some thing that is badly needed. Wish to look into your other addons too as soon as i get time.
Works well. Simple, but useful add-on. This is what I want always.
It works exactly as it says. i agree to all the user reviews here. This must be a featured addon. good work for a missing Firefox feature.
This little add-on works exactly as it says. Very good replacement for new tab homepage. This is what i wanted. Thank you!
Very nice, I give it 4/5 only because I'm used to start typing immediately when I open a new tab. With My Homepage I have to manually click in the Address Bar and then type. Perhaps add a checkbox option to choose if you want to switch to Address bar automatically or not?
Thank you for the review.
I take this up as a very good suggestion. Infact when a user opens up a new tab and does not want a home page, the shortcut key ctrl+alt+m works. But the focus is not in the address bar. But i will fix this soon and will update you. Thanks, Manish
Works exactly how it is supposed to.
This addon make it really simple. works exactly as said. Thank you very much for making My Homepage. *****
After a false start until I worked out that the AVG toolbar was resetting my new tab homepage, this is now working fine. It does exactly what it said it would!
Thanks, Manish, for writing this neat little add-on, and for helping me diagnose the AVG problem.
Works well as stated and the developer promptly replied to confusions i had for my one PC. Thanks. Appreciate its development.
Excellent!! simple work as it says. no extra click is required for my default google page which opens alwayz in the new tab and keeps the cusror in the search box. I was earlier facing this problem with the other addon i was using. This one is the best of best replacement. I will always support its development.
I agree with all the comments posted in the other reviews. Add-on works perfectly, just as the title description says.
Thanks. This comes in very handy, since I don't like looking at blank pages every time I open up a new tab. Please keep this updated. Very good add-on.
I also used 'New tab homepage' until the focus problem came up, this seems to be the perfect replacement.
This a great add-on! I previously used 'New Tab Homepage' but its developer has been inactive for the past several months and seems to have abandoned further development. This made me start looking for a replacement.
'My Homepage' works as advertised and feels quite snappy. The author seems to be very receptive to user reviews and suggestions which is good to see. I would highly recommend this add-on over others that offer similar functionality.
If I had to suggest a feature, it would be an option to customize the keyboard shortcut for opening a new tab without loading the homepage. This isn't a biggie for me because I find 'Ctrl + Alt + M' just fine but others may prefer a one-handed combination.
Thank you for the review Siddarth. Your suggestion is nice and but i got some mails stating that some other add-ons use that shortcut key for some purposes.Thats why upon requests i changed it to the combination of CTRL+ALT+M to keep it a bit different sort of.
