Fantastic Rated 5 out of 5 stars

After all the hastle I had getting mpd to work on the server, it was brilliant to have a client that just worked out of the box. Maybe I am not that demanding but this client has everything I need. Great job!

Great job Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm looking a long time for a good mpd-client.
Now I found minion and I'm happy.
I used it to control the mpd running at my disk station synology ds107+. It works great. Very comfortable and stable.
I have only one wish.
Binding in an alternative lyrics search engine if possible. For example LyricWiki or Leo's Lyrics. Lyricsfly.com works but I miss many songs there.
Thank you

Very nice! So there is no need to run a web server for the MPD to get remote access over a browser.

A possibility to rearrange the current playlist would be nice (song up/down)

What a relief! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

After trying many different solutions, I decided to try MPD again because it was the most stable of those I had tried (I stopped using MPD because the web front-end I was using would occasionally "lose" the controls - no Play / Next / Previous buttons and every other solution I tried had one problem or another). What a relief it was to find Music Player Minion. On Ubuntu 8.04 simply apt-get install MPD, edit /etc/mpd.conf, and install this plugin...done! Web-enabled control of an audio server powering one source in my whole-house audio system. Thanks.

¡WoW! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you very much!.
After making run my mpd-near-only machine, i tried a few clients for it, till I found yours... No more trying needed (by now)... :-D

By the way... two questions...
1st). is it possible to translate? How?
2nd). Do you know if mpd (or any client), can play streaming internet radio stations?..

Thank you very much...

Don't Know Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I don't know how to work this. Any sources I can use?

Wow!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I agree that this flat-out tops every other graphical mpd interface. The only thing it's missing is popup notifications. I suppose a hotkey for the sidebar would be an acceptable substitute for those.

Do you plan add search in playlist?

Will do

I'll add this to MPM2, which is under development for firefox 3 only.

Doesn't stay behind from any other mpd client, becoming my preferred choice fastly after some usage. Loved it.

Verl cool Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The best MPD client I have seen yet. And cross platform too.

Brilliant Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Totally awesome. Probably the best MPD client available which works on win32. I wish I could switch MPD server audio outputs as well tho. (Done!! :-)

Better for me after increasing timeout on search to 600ms. 200 is too short for my typing ;-)

Switching server and server outputs now available in 1.99. NICE!!!

Keep it up!

Actually, you can...

Thanks transatlantek!
Actually, there is a way to switch outputs using the custom commands feature. If you click into the "Last Command" box in the statusbar (or hit F2), you can enter the MPD command directly and even save it, for example:

disableoutput 0;enableoutput 1

Then hit enter to run it or Control + D to save the command. The saved command will be in the Home section. Check out the Help page for more info on custom commands.

Very good extension Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I run my mpd on the NSU2 (Slug), this is a very nice GUI for it.

best mpd-gui Rated 4 out of 5 stars

this is the best gui-client for mpd i've ever seen (for me, the best client is ncmpd ;) )
as said, it's not the lightweightest, well, because it runs in firefox, but its very easy to use and has got a tidy gui

slick, cross-platform interface Rated 5 out of 5 stars

MPMinion is slick, stable (in my experience), and full-featured.
It's an excellent MPD client that compares favorably with most other MPD clients I tried, and being cross-platform (as an FF plug-in) is icing on the cake

A nice and simple MPD-client Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Don't get me wrong, it's not simple as in simplistic, but as in simple to add and use. When Debian didn't have my fav MPD-client Sonata, this is almost as good, since Firefox is open most of the time. And it suits well both in an own window, tab or in the sidebar. It even got play-buttons to add to your panelbars. No need for another bloated app or multiple requirements (like a webserver running or a lot of interface libs), just MPD and Firefox running - as it should be :)
