Vite une mise à jour pour Firefox 57 SVP merci............
There is a workaround for Firefox 57 and higher!
This extension needs to be updated for 57+. It's a must have and a great time saver.
Merci de mettre à jour cette appli !
Not compatible with version 57 FireFox. Please update the add-on.
Super addon, but not conpatible with FF 57.0 yet.
Love this add on. It however does no longer work with Firefox 57. When can we expect a new version?
Sehr zu empfehlen
Love this add-on.
1) Use "about:config"
2) Type in "browser.places.smartbookmarksversion"
3) right click and change the integer to 1, 2, 3, etc. for the number of bookmark lines you want to see.
4) enjoy multi-row bookmarks
I got the same issue since Firefox version 55, line randomly disappear.
(after the first line, the rest randomly disappear.
This 55.0.3 (x64))
Same here, but if you just try to resize the FF window they pop back up ?.
On this version (plus) the same problems - after the first line, the rest randomly disappear.
This 55.0.3 (x64)
I would rate it 5 because it's exactly what I am looking for -- except there is no text with the symbols even though that is the option that I chose. Any suggestions???
BEST Add-on! This is my absolute, 'couldn't live without it' favorite & 'couldn't get along without it' essential Firefox Add-on! It is totally worth investing the little time it takes to get familiar with using this fabulous tool. Just go to its "Options" & mess around with the settings. For starts, set it to have the rows appear when you "hover the mouse over the TaskBar" - "for 1 sec", select the # of rows to display, select, "AutoHide" & select OK. When I just stumbled on the discovery that now, they've made it scroll-able - 50 rows of bookmarks if you want, I had to come here & write this raving review. If you want to quickly find your favorite sites quickly, this is the tool. Especially if you pack them in there by using miniaturized custom named titles which you can assemble from Windows "Character Map". There, go to the font, "Times New Roman", scroll through & you'll see these tiny, tiny letters, assemble what you wish on "WordPad" (for me), & go to "Segoe UI Symbol" to fetch special symbols & create some very unique titles like...
FᶤʳᵉFᵒᵡ➣♍ῗ ᴬᶝᶝᶵ , ⌚ᵟᵖᵉᵉᵈᵀᵉᶳᶵ·ᶯᵉᶵ⏰ , ῧᵀᶸᵝᵋ ▶✇ ⏱ ∶ , ☎ , ⓶Ʈ'ᵟ ᵂᶤᵗʱ Ѵῗᴆᵴ ✇ ▶ , ☼ ☾☀☽ ☪ ★ ☆ ✯ ✵ ⭐ ☄ ✧ ✨ , ᶳᶵ ᵟᵀ (1ᵟᵀ) ᶯᵈ ᶯᵈ ʳᵈ ᵀʱ , ♩♯♩♮♪♫♭♩♮♪♪♫ - & on & on.
To rename the title of a Bookmark, Point at it among the rows, it lightly highlights, then right click, scroll down to "Properties", left click, 'Cut' the current title & paste it in the 'Description' & 'Paste' your custom replacement in the name & then click "Save". And of course, you can put any other details & notes you want in the "Description". Caution: Assembling the "Characters" can devour your time ⍨ but you'll love the end result. DC
If you have trubble with this plugin, try this
I like it but... I would love it if i could change the page pics on the bookmark row to a silver or gold dot/square or black or white. If i have 6 rows it looks like total chaos with all the different colors and shapes. I like it neat and tidy.
Five sparkling stars when it's working.
I'm on a Mac and seem to have the same problems as some Windows users.
I recently deleted my Firefox app and profiles and reinstalled a fresh copy of Firefox and add-ons. My old Firefox was up to date and I did not experience any problems with MBToolbar Plus. After I restored my bookmarks from a json file, I restarted my new copy of Firefox and found the following:
1.Upon restart, the toolbar is missing.
2. View-Toolbars-MB Bottom Bar is checked, but the toolbar does not appear anywhere. (The "Bottom Bar" option is unchecked in preferences. Auto-hide is also unchecked.)
3. When unchecking MB Bottom Bar via View-Toolbars-MB Bottom Bar, the toolbar appears in place below the address bar.
Once the toolbar is in place, it works as expected... until the next restart. The cycle occurs with every Firefox startup.
I hope this helps in figuring out the problem. This truly is a wonderful extension and this is the first time I've ever had any problem with it. Many thanks for your wonderful work
I have the same problem as the one ColonelAngus describes. Really annoying!
The computer is running Windows 10 with the latest Firefox 46.0.1
There is a second way of getting back the Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar: you have to tick the box that selects "move bookmarks toolbar to bottom of screen" in the settings for the Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar, then click ok. Toolbar shows up at the bottom. Then uncheck the box and click ok again. This has to be done after every restart of Firefox as well. Maybe that helps with narrowing down the bug.
EDIT: I just realized you do not need to hide the Multirow Toolbar with ColonelAngus' method... just click on customize, then on the green button at the bottom (the one with which you confirm your settings, I am running Firefox in German, so I don't know what it says in English. In German it says "Anpassung abschliessen" -> "confirm/finalize customization")
So basically you just open the customize menu, then just change nothing and close it via the confirm-button.
On another computer that is Firefox-synced to this one, I am running Windows 8.1 also with the latest Firefox, and the Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar gives me zero issues there, works flawlessly.
So I guess this has something to do with Windows 10. Used Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar before for years, never had a problem with that until I first tried it under Windows 10. It won`t work on a Win10-machine, and since it is no longer supported, I switched to Multirow Bookmarks.
I hope you can fix this Win10-related bug. I actually like your addon better than Roomy Bookmarks. Would however be nice if you could add the option "very small" to bookmark spacing in the settings. I prefer to have the favicons more squeezed together rather than having to use too many rows.
Thanks in advance, I will upgrade this to 5* immediately once that Win10-bug is fixed!
For me, the MultiRow Bookmarks Toolbar items do not appear unless I go into the Firefox settings menu, and at the bottom there's a button for 'Customize'. Then at the bottom of the screen there's 'Show/Hide Toolbars'. In there, you have to uncheck 'Multirow Bottom Bar'. Not sure why it's forcing me to do this each time I open Firefox, but other than that works well.
Just added this to FF 45.0.2 on a machine running Win 10 and have had no problems whatsoever so far!!
very useful addition
Outstanding addon WHEN IT WORKS! The maximum number of rows has NOT exceeded 3 for a VERY LONG TIME. Used to be virtually unlimited -- I used six rows before it stopped working. Would be the BEST addon if this could only be fixed
Before all the updates, best add-on on the planet! Now this add-on is completely ineffective! So much potential, but nothing! :-(
Great Addon, please fix it for Firefox 44!
