Not working in FF3b5/Ubuntu and doesn't use proxy configuration Rated 2 out of 5 stars

The desktop link is opening a regular blank FF screen, not the webapp with all buttons hidden.

Firefox 3.0b5
Ubuntu 8.04

In Windows, it works, but it doesn't use the proxy configuration...

This is totally perfect! It's awesome and opens a whole lot of possibilities, to have for instance Google Calendar as a "standalone". it's a real time saver!
It still needs alot of work though and there are many bugs still... But it's an awesome piece of software with alot of potential!

Even though it installs fine with Firefox RC1, unlike the standalone version, I could not get it to work. Nothing happens when I click OK.

Great Addon !
Firefox 4 promises to change many habbits.

The xulrunner is light and fast, and this is adapted to launch fast links (such a short google search, etc).

It would be also great to allow websites to install their webapps through javascript eg something like navigator.prism.installWebApp("link")
(with the good warns of course)

Beta ONLY Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Seemed cool at first, then I see that its beta software ONLY for beta software.
It's misleading to suggest you can "upgrade" to use this add-on.

windows xp - on FF3.0b - works verynicely: choose "convert web page to application", decide if you want toolbars etc or not, save file - poof, you have a shortcut to launch the web page in a separate FF browser window.

personally not sure what the fuss is all about - except it allows for launching separate browser processes from the O/S, and allows hiding of browser chrome. So, instead of having 9 tabs I now have 9 browsers open, thus not running the risk of crashing the whole session due to a script bug in one site.

Not Just a shortcut Maker Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It uses XulRunner to render pages in its own browser
Not just making shortcuts because it gives them their own process so if your doing something important on the web your not loosing everything if firefox crashes.

Uninteresting Not yet rated

I just can't see the interest of having an extension that makes shortcuts to internet pages. Because that's all it does. I could do that before.

https Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I like Prism very much, but it doesn't like HTTPS-protected websites.

It simply doesn't work for those sites. Creator's window isn't closed and launcher isn't created.
