Should be default Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This should be the default for Firefox 4. The original giant orange button without the Firefox logo is so boring, but this is genius. 5 thumbs up!

Just what necessary !
Seriously mozilla, i'm on the web, surfing,
I KNOW MY BROWSER NAME IS FIREFOX !
I HAVE HIS NAME IN MY TOOLBAR AND MY TOP-WINDOW BAR,
why create an ugly button who looks like a brick for telling me that AGAIN ?!
And why by default we can't move this anywhere we want ?!

This addon fixes all that, indispensable until mozilla fixes this design problem (or allow it in options) :)

Yes !!! Thanks a lot for this indispensable add-on :-) A while ago I installed Fx4 beta10 and removed it straight away, because I really disliked this ugly orange button... And today with the final Fx4, find that someone did the job for moving it... Just great !!! I also agree with "Why isn't this already in the FF4 Build"... Anyway Moz developpers do always a super job, as did the creator for this add :-)

Magnificent! Why isn't this already in the FF4 Build?MOZ DEVS better get right on the ball with the final FF4 because I, for one, have found the Google Chrome Browser a great competitor to FF!
Thank You DEV. Works Great! Love it. Hope it stays!

Just a last glitch Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Works fine.It gives more space for tab bar, so more tabs are visible. Great !!!But there remains a strange square in the top left corner of the window. It is visible in full screen, maximized window and normal window modes. It also pollutes the menu bar when displayed.Seen on Win7-64bits.

[Update]
Yes, I do use the standard theme.
Firefox is RC1.
Language is French (for Firefox and Windows).
Please find a look on the glitch through this link:

The black square on white background is clearly visible. It blocks mouse clicks.

Are you using the default theme of Firefox 4? Movable Firefox Button is not responsible for other themes.

Great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Nice work! This addon works with the "App Button Color" addon so you can remove the orange from the button. However, to use the App Button Color extension, you need to install it, select the color of the button you want (using the right mouse button), then install this extension. When this extension is active you can't select the color with the right mouse button.

So I changed the background to black and removed the little arrow to the right of the icon. Looks great!

Way Cool! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It does just what it says it does: It allows you to customize the position of the Firefox button, Plus it redesigns it so it occupies a smaller space by using the Firefox icon... very cool indeed!

Love it purely for the change of appearance, smaller and cleaner. Anything else is just bonus.

LOVE IT - i simply moved it the ugly orange button onto the menu bar line. Since 'menu bar' is turned off, NO MORE FIREFOX BUTTON.

Despite all the useable addons I have, this just became #1.

Still can't flip the menu Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I enabled autoflip to true in the about:config, but the menu is still the same. Is there a way to have the menu basically be a mirror image of its default appearance?

The position of Firefox Menu will be updated in the new windows. If you mean the menus inside Firefox Menu, I'm sorry that the mirror effect can't be achieved because of technological difficulty.

This is an awesome extension, and I think this functionality should be included by default in a future release of Firefox.

Wonderful for those of us who like our tabs below the conventional address bar and our "glass" look in Vista/7, but want more vertical space for the viewport.

Bug Report Rated 3 out of 5 stars

First off, good job. I wish this had been included in the grand package of Firefox. I have run into a bug however. When the Firefox button is moved off of the top bar (like onto the navigation bar), the add-on hides the three window buttons (min, max, close) when the browser is not maximized. I have isolated Moveable Firefox Button to be the cause of this. For reference, I'm running Win7 Pro x64 on Firefox 4 RC

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.1-signed).

I have tested in Firefox 4 RC on Windows 7 x64, with a new clean profile, but the three buttons are still there. I've also tested in Aero Glass, Aero Standard and Classic Windows themes. Are you sure that you are using the default Firefox theme and without userChorme.css and Stylish? You are welcome to discuses this problem via e-mail.

is it possible to add a keyboard short to toggle FF4's app menu to this? otherwise, great work Merci!

It seems Firefox develop team is going to do this.

Great addon. Before I was wondering how to move the Firefox button, but you can't without this. The only thing is you can't make it where it says Firefox, only the icon. Also if you want to remove the menu button so you can't see it, then in customize drag it to where the menu bar is the hit done and it won't show.

If you want to show the text or hide the logo, you may read Developer Comments in homepage for further information. If you want to "remove" the Firefox Button, you did find a wrong extension. : P
Anyway, you may simply use userChrome.css to hide it:
#appmenu-button, #appmenu-toolbar-button{display:none}
