Still many faults

1 Mouse zoom blocks the awesomebar or the old locationbar pop up menu.

2 Also while zooming the page moved along with the scroll wheel, forwards or backwards. NoSquint makes it much better, but that function does not works together with mouse zoom. https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/2592

3 Also still sometimes the cursor disappeared while the page is moving, only closing the tab will helps. It was before much worse, but the problem will still occur occasionally.

more and smoother zoom levels would be great, or even better make them compatible with NoSquint would be brilliant.

Many thanks

I just found out that the fireGestures can do this for Linux. You just go into preferences and then general options and change the right click + scroll. And enable the rocker gesture.

I would still prefer this addon as it would be more light weight.

I would like this for Linux too.
I haven't used it yet, but do want to give it a try as it sounds like just what I was looking for.

Does this act the same as Firefox's zoom when holding down CTRL and scrolling? If not, could you also make this a possibility.

I will regularly check back and give a positive review when it is on Linux.

For all of the disappearing toolbar folks, this is the command to toggle or hide/show toolbars: Hold the right mouse button and click on the wheel (middle mouse
button) to hide/show all toolbars. It differs from F11 in that it leaves the tabs display. I have a terrible time with my vision so this addon gets 5 stars from me for its simplicity.

Great extension for quickly zooming text. I use it all the time. It has a bug, though. If you happen to double click on the MouseZoom icon on the status bar, the status bar and toolbars all disappear, and there is no way to get them back except for restarting Firefox. But as long as you don't try clicking on the icon it works great.

Installed it because I was looking for click+wheel zooming. But in Ubuntu it only works if you hold down the wheel while turning it, which sometimes has the side effect of hiding all your toolbars. Hiding toolbars without offering an intuitive way to get them back = bad design. Had to uninstall.

I keep forgetting the shortcuts: I suggest adding them to the tooltip.

this is what i need Rated 5 out of 5 stars

i find small fonts always irritating, but this is now history. as you click the wheel and the right, the tool bars disappeared. They can come back as you click it again. It would be nice as you get the whole screen, instead as only disappearing the tool bars. But it has one irritating bug, as you click the wheel and scrolling, the cursor pinned on the same place and moved the page by moving the cursor. The only way to stop this process is to close the tab , and open a new one. Very bad!!!

But thanks for the great add

This add-on is great but how do I get all my toolbar back after doube clicking the icon?

This add-on is great except for the lack of customization.
I personally find the big zoom text in the middle incredibly annoying, but other wise a great add-on.

There is one bug where if you use zoom and mouse-scroll + click. It'll suspend you in scrolling motion; it does not seem to be able to stop unless I close the current page.

Feature request Rated 4 out of 5 stars

@Snafu: That's supposed to happen. RTFM.

@MrPradox: Please add the ability to shut off showing the zoom level in the status bar. Because I'm using two different zoom programs for two different reasons, I now have two. And yours is the one that doesn't do anything.
