Essential best zoom tool available, but please bring back AFS (almost fullscreen) - none of the alternatives have the same functionality. I had stayed with MZ .4.7 and disabled compatibility checker just to keep it but now Firefox 14 won't let me.
Une des meilleurs extension pour zoomé! J'en ai testés plusieurs!
Best zoom addon to date!
Been using MouseZoom for awhile and I have come to consider it an essential. Along with zooming in on text, I mainly use MZ to fit pages that run off horizontally onto my screen. That is what prompted me to write a review/request... When the horizontal scroll bar appears it would be nice to have an MZ option that automatically zooms out so the page fits.
I love this addon and used it on a daily basis. I have noticed the bug when using this mousezoom on pages with flash as well. To avoid it, right click on areas of the page that are out of the boundary of the flash objects (outside of the box the video, game, etc is being displayed).
How come this add-on is not available for the Linux platform? I used it back then, when I was still on Windows -- and it worked fine. It is a shame it is unavailable for the Linux platform, as it is really practical an add-on.
this little addon saves me alot of time in web surfing, i really like it. it makes you quickly zoom the web pages.
but there is a problem, sometimes it keeps zooming in and out by itself. its mostly done in the pages that flash is present. it keeps zoom to 133% and 100% in every click you make.
apart from that, its a really little useful addon. thanks.
works great, great add-ons
pros : easy to use & simple, don't need new button to function/activate, can customize the zoom level, works in full screen mode
cons : none so far
Thanks so much - this is exactly what I've needed! Simple, to the point, so easy to use. Great job!
Good to have MouseZoom back. I had installed NoSquint to replace it but I hated those + and - buttons.
Before version 4 FF had always remembered my zoom levels with MouseZoom but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore with FF 4 and 5. Fortunately MouseZoom and NoSquint seem to work together seamlessly allowing me to take advantage of all the features of both. Now I can use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out and and each page always loads at the same zoom level I'd set the last time I viewed it.
My thanks too Delvin C - great to have mousezoom back
Damn mate thanks to you I got it again working with ver. 4. I registered to thank you! Of course the register will be very useful here for other extensions. There are MANY answers in the web we get exclusively from forums but registering for thanking someone isn't very easy as we don't have the time or will for it and will be a one post register. Then it turns out "waste" in mail inbox and might get into advertisers hands (our email address i.e.)
Thank you so much. I'd never think of that (after all in this matter of add-ons i'm only a point and click user).
Btw it was pure luck I passed over the rating stars - they're completely invisible following this latest fashion which is "invisibility". No more line boxes around posts, search boxes, etc. So where do we click to put the cursor blinking?; "Where do I write?" asks a web beginner. I started to see it in youtube those important line limit boxes disappear and so on till goggle search box and more and more will come.
Sorry for the non topic. Cheers
Please please update this for FF 4.0 none of the other zoom add-ons compare!!
This is by far the greates zoom plugin EVER!! Thanks Pradox oh oh and thank you too DevinC for the work around, works beautifully!!
Love this add-on. It's easy, efficient, and great.
Will it be updated to work on FF4?
1) right-click on the greyed out button "Add to Firefox" to download the XPI file.
2) open XPI using archiver software (i.e. WinRAR)
3) edit install.rdf (with Notepad) and change maxversion to 4.*
4) save change and update archive
5) install extension (in FF) via File > Open File (or CTRL+O)
6) restart browser
Loved it! Thanks very much! But now I'm on Firefox 4, and after much looking, I've found the NoSquint add-on. This does the trick PLUS remembers the zoom setting for EACH WEBSITE, a feature I've wanted for years . . . give it a try if you're on FF4.
Brilliant add on, I can zoom to see what I want to see, and at the level I need so easily without having to look for keys. Would happily give it 6 stars for the help its been for my old eyes!
Thanks for creating this wonderful add-on that.I needed a way to zoom in using mouse alone when I was on bed rest after my spine surgery, because I had to be lying on bed for more than 8 months. It was very hard to use both the keyboard and mouse for such a simple thing as quick zoom in.Then I found your add-on and cant do without it anymore !
Now if could update it to work with Firefox 4,it would be great,Thank You.
Great addon! MrPradox.
Could you please add some little feature to avoid zooming and scrolling simutanieously?
Or cycling through zoom levels with holding the right mouse button and click the left button?
it works...and great
need modification if zooming too much
we need to scrool too left or right
using the cursor like hand would be nice
so we could no need scrool anymore
it already works for firefox 4 beta 2, just bump it
will it be supportet for firefox 4 (beta)?
Super module! Très pratique, customisable, facile à utiliser... l'idéal!
Et le retour à 100% d'un clic est super!
Make this for linux users!!! PLLLEEEEAAAASSSSSEEEEEE?
Thanks A lot :)
