Javascript & Outgoing Headers Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Great addon, the only thing that is missing is the possibility to use javascript (like it's possible with Header Tool 0.6.0, however the GUI is not much exisiting there). This should be easy to implement and would extend the function endlessly (possibility to use lists where one random item is picked for one host for a header etc.).

Apart from that I wonder why none of the current addons for headers cares about outgoing headers (example usage: Location redirects could be modified, adbock etc.).

Only one missing feature Rated 4 out of 5 stars

If it only was possible to make rules on a per-site-base or atleast possible to turn it on/off on a per-site-base that would be very great. Otherwise a good working add-on.

The addon is working well, but the icon needs be slimmed down. The arrow should show on the side of the sphere instead of below it. It's making the add-on bar annoyingly thick.

Why was the target app setup for SeaMonkey disabled in install.rdf? This extension works in SeaMonkey. I removed the comment markers from the install file, bumped up the max version, and got it to install.

I have used this for a substantial time without a problem. It is worthy of 5 stars. For 4 days it has not worked. Any ideas?

I tried several add-ons with similar functionality and found this one the best.

Great if you need it Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great tool if you need it, I'm kind of baffled by all the people that review it as "dont know what it does" "does nothign" or similar, didn't they read the description before they installed it?

Only negative thing about it is the button, it stretches my toolbar (vertically) so much that I dont have it in there and to enable/disable it is a bit cumbersome without. Still use it as it's the best alternative out there but could be better.

Decent enough addon, but not what I was looking for. I'm trying to find a way to ignore headers sent from the server, to stop firefox from acting on them. Specifically, X-Frame-Options. (I don't need to be babied by mozilla, and I want to use iframes in one of my personal projects)

Excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Kuddos for M Gareth Hunt, this extension is very simple and incredibly usefull!
(well, provided you need to MODIFY HEADERS in the first place ^_^ I can't believe the amount of noobiness, navel-gazing and arrogance combined in a few comments).
Just open it from the "Web Developer" Menu, clic "Help" and you're started. Takes less than a couple of minute if you know e.g. the headers you wanna modify :-D

Excellent piece of work, and ridiculously useful. This saves me a lot of time where I would otherwise have to use a telnet client and manually enter an entire request, or use Fiddler, which is still time-consuming.

Thank-you for getting my butt out of a sling with this.

Excellent tool!
Just the thing for Vodafone's insidious lossy image compression and nasty javascript injection.
Now I can see high resolution images again!

This is a horrible add-on for the layman. You need to be a computer programmer of the highest ilk in order to figure out how to use it.

Exactly WHAT is this add-on supposed to do? I installed and enabled it and ..... it's as if I did nothing. No icon. No button. No anything. So whatever it's supposed to do, the result equaled zero. (System: Mac OS X 10.6.8)
