thank devs

Thanks & Discontinued development

Dear Bobwallace,

In first hand, thank you for your rate. Unfortunately, I have not time for continuously update and improve my addon, therefore my co-developer, Foudil fork this project, and rewrote it from strach. I Fully recommend that addon, because it's more customizable and a bit user friendlier.

Thank you!

not working with firefox 20 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

As for title, MitM Me doesn't work at all with newly released firefox version 20. I hope it will be updated (that is, if it is still maintained).

EDIT: Thank you, Andras, for your prompt reply and hint about the new addon. I totally missed it!

Dear smdlight,

support and develop of this addon is discontinued and I'm going to forward MitM Me users to my mate's addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/skip-cert-error
It is based on MitM Me, maintained and continuously developed. I prefer it!

Best regards,
Andras

Suggestion Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I work in a environment where all https pages shows invalid cert error page. Thats why I am using this addon.
When I load https://github.com, it refreshes automatically and loads the site. But the CSS & JS files are hosted in another https site (like https://a248.e.akamai.net/assets.github.com/stylesheets/bundles/github2-4b6bcec41751f99d9227d96056dd0fd05c514c85.css), so those are not loaded. Hence the site, looks crappy. So I need to go to individual site and validate them manually.

I think this addon should validate other https pages in the background and reload the entire site again.

This probably needs an update Rated 4 out of 5 stars

On visiting an HTTPS page with an error it tries to reload the page indefinitely with no success. Tried it on several pages with errors. Doesn`t work for me.

Questions

Dear User,

Please answer the next questions:
Which settings use you while the problem caused? With "Silent mode"? Which Firefox version?

Best regards,

Add Exception button not automatically shown Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great extension, but at least with Firefox 7.0.1, the feature "Auto-show the add exception button on ssl error pages" does not work anymore, so you still need 2 clicks to add the temporary exception. That is still less than without this add-on, but I think this needs to be fixed.

That addon return old fx behavior - ignoring sefl-signed sertificates.
Thank you very match!

I've a separate profile created for Firefox that is exclusively used while I do pen testing. I come across so many test apps that are self-signed and this addon saves my day.

Note: Please ensure that you are not installing this addon on a Firefox that is used for personal use.

Glad to hear it. Okay, I'm going to show up next to the automatic mode (because without this option the addon is harmless)

This saves me so much time and annoyance when logging in to client's control panels which most always use self-signed certs. Thank you!

so awesome Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Been needing this addon for a while. I have to access hundreds of servers with self-signed certs through an SSH tunnel so Firefox can never remember the exception correctly. Silent mode completely skips the warning which is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much.

It Works ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Absolutely lovely addon, I was waiting for such tool since Mozilla invented this security nonsense ... I just tested it on Linux, and it works as it's supposed to. Maybe I will reconsider going back to using FF every day ...
