The Metastream Remote browser extension shares no data with third-parties. Playback information is sent between websites embedded in Metastream and the Metastream web app itself (https://app.getmetastream.com).

The Metastream web app uses playback information to synchronize between other users connected in a session. This data is transmitted to peers using WebRTC and isn't stored on any servers.
