  • Was a great add-on until today, 7-19-2018!!!! Now it no longer works with Firefox 56.0.2!!! I refuse to update Firefox because so many of the add-ons do not work at higher versions. Now you have ruined this add-on for those of us who do not want to update! SO SAD

And, you website for your add-on is pure garbage. It does not take me to the homepage for your add-on, where I was hoping to find the previous version to re-install. It takes me to a sex site. :(
  • Firefox 44 doesn't appear to be supported
  • Very easy to use. Great for de-cluttering menus. The ability to rearrange would be great.
  • Excellent Add-On
    I love it
  • F2 did nothing for me. ?!
  • Great add-on but I must complain that it doesn't show Adblock Plus in the tools menu so you can't hide it.
  • Absolutely fantastic :-)

By some miracle it seems to have survived the crazy FF update schedule and still works perfectly for me (IceDragon 22).

Combined with UI Fixer which I also found just today, my browser is looking tidier than it has done in ages.

    Thank you Lisa.

Edit... Spoke too soon. After about the third restart of FF menumod forgets all the settings I gave it. Shame.

I'll persevere though, there might be some compatibility issue going on.
  • thats great addon,
can you add option to move "Menus" to the titlebar?
  • Menu Mod hides the main menu toolbar and the all-in-one toolbar. Any icons on those toolbars are also lost. I reinstalled ff14, 16, and 17 trying to fix the problem. I finally took a good look at my extensions. Menu Mod looked like a good culprit. After uninstalling Menu Mod, the problem was solved. I really would like to try this extension. Please fix it and I'll check back.

  • When I switch to hidden items tab in preference there is a blank list
  • Works really well now. Even on FF4. Great tool to clean up the menu entries.
  • Please update for FF4
  • When I right click a tab, all I want to see is "Undo Close Tab" and
"Close Tab". None of the other options have ever been of any value to me and were nothing more than hindrances.
  • I like this addon a lot, but I have a big problem with it: in Menu Mod options under hidden items, suddenly it's all blank. There are no menu items to select anymore. I'm using it with Windows XP and Firefox 3.6.13.
This is crazy and happens with no apparent reason or pattern and now I can't change anything anymore. Does anyone else have a same problem and maybe a solution?
  • so, completely reinstalled my computer and overcome same problem had last year. Since there is no solution yet, i´ll post one. simply delete all files in de-DE directory of the downloaded xpi file and copy all files contained in en-US into it. That fixes the problem...
(If you want to translate them to germany, just open all files and replace all english explanation to german)
I know there is a better solution, but that's beyond the scope here...
    have fun :-)
  • Thank you for Add-ons
    I Like This func.
"Hide/Show the entire menu bar with F2"

I don't used func. alt key and show menu in default FF Config
  • Finally able to edit the bookmarks menu - Sweet!
  • Really nice addon. The best and simplest menu editor out there After 3.6 it stopped working. Used this solution to fix it.

  • Worked great on Vista x64, but unfortunately, it does not on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Hosted a Windows 7 party and got a Steve Ballmer Signed Win 7 Ultimate CD :) -Anything to get rid of Vista!!!
  • I second the last posting: Since v2.2 MenuMod does not work with a german FireFox.
Actually being able to change some items in the bookmarks menu was so important to me that I still use FireFox 3.0 with MenuMod 2.1, but slowly I'd like to change to a newer FireFox version.
It's a pitty that MenuMod is not being updated anymore!
  • I installed Menu mod 2.2 on FF 3.5.2 on Windows XP. It installed ok but in the Menu Mod options under hidden items, it is all blank. There are no menu items to select. This works great however on my Solaris pc.
  • someone suggested this as an alternative to medu editor and i must say i'm very pleased with how it's working. it handles the items in the various menus beautifully.

i have just a few suggestions: in future builds make it possible to change the position of items inside menus, and make it possible to move items in between menus. if you could implement these it would wonderful.
  • I'm using it with 3.5.2, and it works perfectly.
  • Since this addon hasn't been updated lately i am now using "Tiny Menu" instead.

Just thought i'd post here in case people are looking for a solution in FF 3.5 like me :-)
