Works with Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Earlier someone wrote that this add-on does not work with his Windows 7, 64-bit. However, I just installed it on my Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit, OS, and it is working well.

Thank you very much.

You have no idea how long I've been trying to get certain embedded midi files to play nice with Firefox. Finally, there's an easy-to-use plug-in that gets the job done. Thanks a bunch!

Some media will not work with MPC, other media will better work with this. Now I must manually turn off and restart firefox, for only play a vid.

would be awesome if I can turn on and off MPC with a single click, and auto disable some site's, that not works with MPC. And other sites will still anable

ONET.PL doesn't work... Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Doesn't work for me. I try to play http://film.onet.pl/zwiastuny/11050,6181037,267,filmy.html (WMV) but I see: "Your browser doesn't have the right software to view this material"

Any chance of incorporating HTTP headers into flash detection?

Doesn't work for me. I've tried to play Youtube links in vlc with the build in flv support. This could be the only purpose for me to use this script.
My system is running on Windows 7 32bit.

Hope you can keep one the development. Thanks

This add-on contains bugs, which makes it very annoying to use. The bugs have already been reported. This is just to lower its ranking.

I love this addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I can't say thank enough for developing this addon, it is the greatest thing next to NoScript. I always wanted to use Windows with WMP completely removed, but I could never figure out how to have web clips that are embeded in webpage and relies on Microsoft formats to play on Windows OS. Even though VLC does play them, it does not give any interface. With the introduction of this addon allow me to play web clips with the player of my choice, Media Player Classic. And I don't have to have the annoying WMP install that tries to overtake files associations of my other media format. This is really brilliant. Thank you.

A no go for any media I've tried so far :(

.mov files from the Apple trailers website just gives errors about
mpc-overlay.js (which previous posters has mentioned)

.wmv files start to play but freeze on first frame.

Settings reset to default after you change them.

Using FIrefox 3.5.2.

IF any of you have encountered similar problems and have a fix, please post how you fixed it. Thanks.

Big Screen + VLC Rules!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm so tired of looking at quicktime player and the tiny screen size, especially when viewing online educational programs. Please install this with VLC (videolan.org) and set the quicktime player setting to VLC you'll be able to size the screen HUGE with little loss of resolution!

All errors, no play Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Nothing but error messages about javascript. Without this extension, at least a simple MP3 will play via QuickTime Plugin. With this, nothing plays unless I open it in a new window. Very odd behavior. I will uninstall now.
