- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18635122, 2 days agoVery useful and similar to the Arc peek feature. I like it. Thank you !
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18236946, 5 days agoReally enhances Firefox with modern features. Very useful! The only minor issue I have is that I can't chat with previewed PDFs. Clicking on any button leads to a `TypeError: i is null` in the console. Hope it'll be fixed in an upcoming update :)

- Rated 4 out of 5by pda, 8 days agolike arc's peek feature but better, much cleaner UI and it has a lot of functionality and customisability. one thing i wish that could be changed is the ability to completely remove the AI features altogether. I don't have any use for them so cleaning up these elements would be ideal for me personally.

posted 7 days agoHello, thank you very much for the feedback. If you're looking to remove AI features completely, our PRO no AI plan has no AI features at all. For free users, you can also disable them! Just go to the options page and set "Show AI prompt suggestions" and "Show the AI chat button on every page" to false. - Rated 1 out of 5by Robson Ricardo, 8 days agoThe extension is good, but charging for link previews is downright ridiculous. The 'free' plan has a limit of 100 previews, and after that, you have to pay. I understand putting AI features behind a paywall, but link previews should be free.
Developer response
posted 7 days agoHey Robson, thank you for the feedback. Providing unlimited previews does require resources, which is why we have paid plans. The free plan offers daily free previews, and the Pro plan is a one-time payment—pay once, and you use it forever.
You can also share our extension with others to earn extra free previews for each friend who joins. - Rated 1 out of 5by Chloe, 10 days agoAll this extension needed to be was what it says on the box; preview links without opening the tab. Instead, MaxFocus adds in unnecessary bloat like themes, a search bar(???), AI features and puts it all into a box covered in unnecessarily expensive wrapping paper. (But it's always on sale, so don't worry! You're saving money!)
The bloat makes this not worth installing.Developer response
posted 9 days agoChloe, thanks for the feedback. MaxFocus offers more than just link previews, with features like AI and themes, all clearly mentioned "on the box." These extras are optional and add flexibility. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13956377, 14 days agoI can't express enough how impressive this extension is! It's exceptionally useful and remarkably intuitive. The design is both sophisticated and minimalist, making it a delight to use.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13340935, 20 days ago
This link preview plugin has significantly enhanced my browsing experience! It saves me a lot of time by eliminating the need to click into pages, making it truly click-and-go. For those who frequently need to quickly preview search results, this is a very practical tool. I recommend it to users who also seek an efficient browsing experience! - Rated 5 out of 5by Win Ee, 25 days agoI primarily use this app for the link preview function. This helps me a lot when I do research, as I often found myself opening numerous tabs and clicking through them. This leads to a lot of clutter as I also forget to close them afterwards. With link preview, I get to see the page first to see if it is worthwhile. If it is, then I open it and maybe pin it. This has saved me a lot of time and I appreciate it. Thanks, developers.
I can't speak much on the AI functions as I don't use it very much because I already have other paid extensions that do the same thing. However, it does seem competitive with offerings from similar extensions such as TinaMind. What would be a good future feature is to add image generation capabilities as well, and have a prompting library. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18599118, a month agoGreat, just wish it could distinguish if the URL being clicked normally is part of another domain and automatically using the Popup (Like Arc)
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15147821, a month agoThe link preview is amazing -- sort of overwhelmed with all the other stuff, but the link preview alone feels like a missing feature of wikipedia etc, and I feel stifled when I use a machine that isn't running it.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Yandong, a month agoI reported two problems three months ago, and they're still not resolved as of version 0.4.10:
1. If you use it to preview an online PDF document and click the URL, it will open Google instead of the PDF.
2. Pages previewed by MaxFocus will not go into browser history, please provide an option to make it also appear in browser history. - Rated 5 out of 5by Neikon, a month agoIt's really cool to be able to open articles without leaving Feedly, or open links without leaving Reddit, watch videos on youtube without going back and forth. Keep in mind that the free version is 50 previews per day. But the pro version can be paid for life and is cheap.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Shiftoss, 2 months agoYeah... paywalling basic functionality is not too great. I'm also sick of every single piece of software pushing some kind of AI, if I see that I'm even more tempted to uninstall just because of that...
Edit: the fake reviews on their site also don't make me like them more... (https://maxfoc.us/welcome/?step=4&isPayment=1&plan=pro_lifetime_a)Developer response
posted 2 months agoHi Shiftoss,
We offer a free plan for basic use—AI is optional.
All the reviews on our site are real and clickable if you want to explore them further. If you have any doubts, we’re here to listen. - Rated 4 out of 5by simon, 3 months ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Ecys, 3 months agoLocking features behind a paywall, on a browser extension...?
You can only open 25 links if you don't want to buy the cheapest plan for $15.90. And even if you pay, those searches won't have the AI features they are talking about.
For AI features you need to buy their pro plan, which is supposedly $49.90! This is a joke!Developer response
posted 3 months agoHello, Ecys.
Thanks for your feedback.
We do offer a free plan that lets you open up to 25 previews per day. If you need more, we have two paid plans: Pro without AI and Pro, both with a one-time payment. It's not a subscription—you pay once and use it forever.
The prices you mentioned are without discounts, which are clearly shown on our website. We provide discounted rates to make it more affordable. The AI features are included in the Pro plan for added value. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12143476, 3 months ago

"You've reached your daily limit of 10 link previews. Upgrade to PRO to get unlimited previews and more features"Developer response
posted 4 months agoHi Hulio,
Thanks for your feedback. The daily limit of 10 link previews helps us manage resources.
Upgrading to the PRO version gives you unlimited previews and extra features. - Rated 3 out of 5by AJ, 4 months agoGreat add-on, but unfortunately caps daily usage unless you upgrade to PRO.
Locking premium features behind a paywall is one thing but locking basic features behind them when they weren't locked in previous versions of the extension is unfortunate. - Rated 3 out of 5by Reality changer, 4 months agoLimited time of usage without upgrade?
I thought this upgrade ONLY for use AI Summaries or some customizations?
If so, it's useless. :/
