was good back in 2.* Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Doesn't work in 3.0.10, don't bother to use work-around posted by Jeffrey.

In 3.0.10 it shows tooltip with after each word and also it still disappears after the timeout (the reason i wanted to install it in the first hand).

Don't bother going to the homepage here Rated 3 out of 5 stars

If you go to the homepage listed on this download page, it just redirects you back to here.

It's funny, but I've also come to this site because of xkcd... :)

Work-around for FF3 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a great extension for XKCD readers. Now, to get it working with FF3.x, you'll have to do a little editing. It's not hard, just a work-around until someone gets around to updating it.

Download the add-on xpi file and save it. Open the xpi file using your favorite unzipper. Extract "install.rdf" and open it in a text editor.

In "install.rdf" look for the xml tag "" and change "3.0a" to "3.1" (or 3.2 or something later). Save the file.

Put the updated "install.rdf" into the xpi file, overwriting the old one. Install and enjoy!

I find it amusing that when I look at the reviews, I see tons of stuff about the site. That is the exact same reason I downloaded this to being with. ^_^ Now when will it be compatible with FF3? >_

ZOMFG, Foomandoonian. That is the exact same reason why I installed this add-on in the first place!!!! lmao

Useful for all pre-FF3 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A spectacular extension for all firefox 2 users. This thing pretty much saved me tons of effort until FF3 fixed the bugs, and is great for anyone still using FF2!

Great, but I need it to work with FF3 so I can read XKCD punchlines!

Line breaks? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

My only real complaint is that it doesn't properly handle line breaks. Otherwise, it works like a charm. Now to go re-read xkcd.

Thanks for this add-on. Question for anyone out there: Now that I've upgraded to FF3, is there any add-on or tweak I can make so that tooltips don't disappear after timeout? That was a great feature of this add-on.

Not needed for FF 3.04 and (hopefully) beyond. Excellent add-on for 1x and 2x, however. All respect to Xavier Robin for expertly filling a need.

just a note to highlyunfortunateggs, and others who didn't read the note in the long description ;) you don't need this for firefox 3, as the problems requiring this plugin have been fixed, so i imagine there won't be any further releases.

So simple, so useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

If you read webcomics like XKCD, this extension solves the titles problem simply. Recommended for everyone, but most of all for XKCD readers (if you haven't been reading the mouseover text, reread the whole run for it).

Was a great solution to the Firefox bug. Did the job great when it was needed, thankfully Firefox 3 fixes this problem now by itself.

Wonderful - I can read the xkcd tooltips now too! More independence from IE!

Thankyou for this, makes such a difference to my daily Dinosaur Comics experience. I love the fact that the text now stays on-screen for as long as you want it to.
