Also having an incompatibility problem, like Tekmoor.
After installing the [ InstantFox ] ext. for FF,
suddenly [ LocationBar2 ] does not work anymore. :( ....
(ie:no red underline of Domain Name visible in Location Bar, etc).
Is there a way to make your great extension be compatible? Thanks!SFdudeFF 3.6.17, XP-SP3 fully updated.
mouse moving over the left of the address bar will also enable linkification, which is annoying
Very useful extension, especially for moving up directory trees.
One small request would be to have an option to drop sub-domains on ctrl-click or something.
Such as: addons.mozilla.org would be nice to have a way to quickly just click to jump to mozilla.org, instead of having to manually edit the url.
Please add an option to turn off the linkification; it's annoying every time I accidentally move my mouse over the favicon.
Using this with Multiple Tab Handler causes breadcrumbs to be used even if the preference is unchecked.
I've been a long time user of Locationbar2 and I would love to see it become compatible with Status-4-Ever; an addons that fixes one of Mozilla's poor choices for Fx4Status-4-Ever:https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/status-4-evar/
I love this one but - It's conflicting with at least one of my other extensions (not sure which) in Firefox 4 :(
Sadly conflicts with Status-4-Evar if FF4
This extension separates a URL into its components (separated by /), and allows you to quickly jump up a level just by clicking. If it also separated at the # character (or provide an option to set custom break points), it would be perfect.
IDN (ex. http://сайт.рф) is still converting to punycode. fix please
Vacizator, I can't confirm there is a conflict with Status-4-Evar on both Linux and Windows machines, however there seems to be a conflict with Tab Control extension on my Win machine.
There is a conflict with "status 4 evar" extension. If both extensions are installed the progress-item did not work. Please repair!!!
Great add-on, but there is a conflict with "status 4 evar" extension. If both extensions are installed the progress-item did not work.
I really like locationbar² but since the latest release (the RC i believe) it sometimes makes the awesomebar flicker (the lower part of the border of the awesomebar), could you please look into this ?
Thanks for update to ff4 =)
finally work with firefox4. thanks for the wonderful add-on.
It's Not working with Status-4-Evar.
Great - a must-have addon!
The latest version though, breaks two addons :
the "Status-4-Evar" addon (the "show progress on the url bar" feature)
and the "Mozilla Labs: Prospector - Instant Preview 3" addon.
Please fix these issues.
(I use 4.0b13pre)
Some minor improvement requests
* Allow clicking on the protocol to alway treat as a text box instead of a link.
* Change the 'Breadcrumb for' controls to be a radio button
* Allow control of what Ctrl/Shift/Meta/None click does (Select as text, Open in current, Open in New background tab , Open in new Foreground tab, Open in new window)
* Allow clicking on domain in 'sub.domain.tld/....' to link to 'domain.tld'. Right now it always links to 'sub.domain.tld'.
Everything work great on Firefox 4 beta 12 except that the sub-domain texts on urlbar doesn't turn grey even through the setting is on in the option.
Please add support for Cyrillic domains!
For example, http://www.президент.рф/
great, but there are severals problems with stausbar 4-ever.
Please fix them
I really enjoy the highlighting. I typically inflict this extension on everyone else's profile.
Great addon - please update to FF4B11. :)
I have a problem while hiding protocol name at location bar. Look at the space around domain name: http://bayimg.com/MAdebaadM
