I have Firefox 7.0.1 and when I try to copy-paste a youtube link without the "&feature=related" and all that useless info in the end of the url, from my browser to a windows live messenger window, your add-on causes it to be pasted like this: http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elyQ4ShVw-Y with http:// written twice. I hope you can fix that soon, I am disabling the add-on until then though.

Please update for FF7. It has no http:// and your addon brings the prefix back, and removing the prefix in the addon options is really buggy.

Nice Addon until Firefox 6 release !

This is an excellent add on and it looks like Mozilla think so as well. As of Firefox 7 most of this addons functionality is built in to Firefox. The http:// is not displayed in the url bar (although https:// still is for security reasons) and the domain is in black whilst everything else is grey.

Nice, but problematic Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This is very nice, and I like it a lot and would really like to use it, but whenever I set it to hide http and https, it puts a bunch of space on either side of the server.domain which I find unappealing.

Waiting for new version Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Waiting for new version with fixed:
- conflict with Status-4-Evar
- bad IDN displaying.

Suggestions: An option to hide "www.". Options to colorize the string "https", depending on the verifications status of site.

I do not understand why this isn't standard behavior in any browser.

Recommend triage for possible interference with Status-4-Evar Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This Extension works as advertised on its own, splitting the URL into its component hyperlinks and formatting the URL in a manner consistent with Microsoft® Internet Explorer™ 7-up. It does, however, prevent the Sparky Bluefang Extension Status-4-Evar (Versions 2011.04.06.08 and 2011.05.07.18b tested) from utilizing the URLbar for links (as proposed for Firefox 4.0) or status; a workaround is available in Options/Preferences for the Extension cited (viz., to assign both Status and Links to the Toolbar), and the integrated URLbar progress-meter function thereof is only affected in terms of display format, so I consider this issue a Low-priority bug.

Awesome and very usefull addon. Works like a charm!

Suggestion: A option for selecting colors for the subdomain/segment/file etc. would be handy (like choosing colors for the domain) Currently i'm using Stylish for selecting my own colors for the segment and file parts.
(.textbox-presentation-segment / .textbox-presentation-file)

Another suggestion: A option for highlighting the url values (GET values) could be usefull form some web developers i think. (I tried it but i failed unfortunately. Wanted to add the class: .textbox-presentation-query-value for each url value)

Nice work!

Not compatible with ext "Location Bar2" ?? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Also having an incompatibility problem, like Tekmoor.
After installing the [ InstantFox ] ext. for FF,
suddenly [ LocationBar2 ] does not work anymore. :( ....

(ie:no red underline of Domain Name visible in Location Bar, etc).

Is there a way to make your great extension be compatible? Thanks!SFdudeFF 3.6.17, XP-SP3 fully updated.

linkification problem Rated 4 out of 5 stars

mouse moving over the left of the address bar will also enable linkification, which is annoying

Very useful extension, especially for moving up directory trees.
One small request would be to have an option to drop sub-domains on ctrl-click or something.
Such as: addons.mozilla.org would be nice to have a way to quickly just click to jump to mozilla.org, instead of having to manually edit the url.

Turn off linkification. Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Please add an option to turn off the linkification; it's annoying every time I accidentally move my mouse over the favicon.

Using this with Multiple Tab Handler causes breadcrumbs to be used even if the preference is unchecked.

I've been a long time user of Locationbar2 and I would love to see it become compatible with Status-4-Ever; an addons that fixes one of Mozilla's poor choices for Fx4Status-4-Ever:https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/status-4-evar/

Please fix for FF4 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I love this one but - It's conflicting with at least one of my other extensions (not sure which) in Firefox 4 :(

Sadly conflicts with Status-4-Evar if FF4

Essential addon, but doesn't separate at # characters Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This extension separates a URL into its components (separated by /), and allows you to quickly jump up a level just by clicking. If it also separated at the # character (or provide an option to set custom break points), it would be perfect.
