A genius idea. A real hidden gem!
Love this add-on, it's so helpful for those of us who use multiple browsers on a regular basis and forget the little nuances between them (e.g. Fox for development, Moon for data-mining/research, Opera for clean speed, Chrome for play, etc.). I ran across it, while data-mining, then lost it and couldn't find it for a couple weeks, until I stumbled across it again (made sure to add it to my Mozilla groups that time). That's never happened to me before and doubt I'm the only one... I'd recommend adding another line or 2 to the description to include words like "urlbar / location bar / awesomebar... reminder / cheat sheet / help"... for example.
I was bummed to find out it's not compatible with Palemoon 25.x (Fox engine 24.9), but it works perfect in my Firefox 33.x with a ton of other add-ons, too (no issues). Even after tweaking it for compatibility, it just ended up breaking up the urlbar, tab and all tabs menu, and still no show. Would be pretty sweet to see Palemoon compatibility in a future update. Well done, Koodos.
It works nicely helping you remember the characters in order to do a refined search.
Does precisely what it says—helps you learn shortcuts to filter url-bar search suggestions.
NOTE: all of these shortcuts are part of Firefox, not part of this add-on. The add-on is just a tool to help you learn them.
Url-bar filtering can be useful if you visit one cool site, bookmark it, go to a similarly-named site a bunch of times after that, and look for the cool site (your suggestions will be full of your recently-visited websites).
Right-clicking the url-bar will reveal a drop-down of the symbols' functions to help you find what you're looking for.
